Hi Andreja! I love love love the cardigan!! It's so petty! I would like to ask you a question about BJDs since I've been really considering getting one/giving it a faceup! Are the hands on all BJDs detachable/changeable? I've been looking at a Daydream doll on daydream-int.com, and I'm super in love with the Coco doll, but I'm not sure if the hands are removable or not. I'm not very familiar with any BJDs, so forgive me if this seems like a silly question, but I would really like to know! Thank you in advance if you answer!

I have been trying to do a similar cardigan but I did it in much chunkier wool and I will have to do it again...it's not a problem, I am just trying out new shapes and how to achieve them on the dolls I have. Most of my dolls are plastic but they still look great and I have mostly Monster High dolls and Obitsu 27cm dolls then I have 3 roughly MSD size dolls and a 60cm doll and I am trying to make some nice clothing for all the sizes. I haven't crocheted for years but I am doing a fair bit at the moment and I must say that I am getting better. I have some rough jumpers for them but I feel like I know what I am doing now as I don't work from patterns but generally have an idea and I will try it out for size and shape and occasionally look at videos about making clothing and use what I see to achieve the shape and the way it drapes on a doll size body. I really enjoy the whole process. I also intend to put together a couple of dioramas for them (roughly 1/6 and then a bigger one to fit the bigger dolls which is approximately 1/3 because the big ones run from 60cm down to 45cm so I am going to put together a bedroom for the bigger ones and a kitchen/sitting room for the 1/6 dolls. I want to start doing some photos and have customised my bigger dolls and they are looking really good and I am pleased with the way they are coming on. I really enjoy your videos as you give me a lot of ideas and if I do upload any stuff directly inspired by you, such as any eyes I may make, I will definitely tag you. I know that you use Monster High as well as resin dolls so you will know how lovely some of the plastic dolls can look if you put in a bit of work. I am a real Obitsu fan so I think that I am pretty unforgiving when a doll doesn't pose as well as an Obitsu. I don't see myself getting too into resin as there's lots of cons as well as pros with resin dolls and I feel that Obitsu bodies tick all the boxes as far as I am concerned. I do like the Monomi doll though...that is the one thing that makes me want to explore resin but I can't really justify the expense as I do have other areas where I spend money and animal welfare is my biggest and I just couldn't bring myself to spend money that could help an animal in need. I obviously would like to make some money eventually from my hobby and maybe then I can explore resin dolls further!

That's the exact outfit I would have chosen. I was like 'yes girl', when you swapped to the brown top, black pants and brown boots. love the Cardigan I'm going to start practicing crocheting again so that I can slowly make some jumpers and cardigans for my dolls. Its winter here and my girls and boys look so cold. I think I'll start with scarves and work my way up. ;) Thanks for the Cardigan eye candy. Also I'm a green tea plain girl, or brewed coffee with milk and honey :)

Love the cocoon cardi you commissioned! I just learned how to put one together at Doll A-Kon last weekend, using a six-inch crochet square I premade! Now that I see yours, I want to add a nice collar and cuffs to it! Good luck on your move! If your planning to buy one of these this comment will help they use 14mm eyes and they are a 1/4 doll. The best/cheapest clothes you can buy for them is off eBay and Etsy your welcome !
