I definitely think that the birthday wishes and the holiday Barbie lines need to be overhauled. They're looking so cheap now. I agree about the career of the year dolls, it would have been nice to get the whole band. Thankfully they're releasing repros of the Barbie and the rockers dolls soon and also there are some jem reproductions coming out too. Lots of musical themed dolls.

IMO the RH reboot hate is so tired at this point, they’re not bad quality at all. The designs are more childlike but the clothes and hair are still great.

I'm glad Bratz didn't put the "boho" look on the white doll boho is a culturally appropriated style derived from mainly Romani traditional styles with some accents of African and Southeast Asian styles. The name "boho" comes from bohemian which most people think of coming from the bohemian mountains which is partly true but it also comes from the French word bohemian which is a racial slur for Romani people. White people take this style and wear it and think of themselves as being "so European" and "chic" while Romani people are banned from entering stores labeled "dirty" and "theives" are forced to confess to crimes they didn't commit by the police and having their children attacked by the police when they try to enjoy A Christmas fair when wearing their families traditional styles. The double standard we white people have for this is appalling so I really appreciate that they put this style on a doll that could arguably be Romani racially speaking

Yup, bar is VERY low and 18:50 sorry but they are SO below any bar, they are awful. My eyes are bleeding I agree, Monster High line is fun and good quality (except Buried Secrets line cause there's no articulation in elbows and knees), I'll probably buy Draculaura from the Garden Mysteries cause she is red and that's kinda unique look, tho I don't like that closet.
