@@lyrus666 I see what you’re saying but you can still eat healthy while being frugal. I’m didn’t mean to start shopping at organic food stores exclusively but all those preservatives gonna really mess you up. You could end up developing health issues and you know going to the hospital isn’t cheap. I’d rather pay a moderate food bill than an astronomical hospital/insurance bill because it could hurt you in the long run. What good is money when your body broken down like hell. Health is wealth.

Don't know why they say its unhealthy. Like that fried rice is not unhealthy. Got lots of veg in it. As for the other recipes...they cost more if you use expensive supermarket ingredients. Still the same if you use dollar tree ones instead. Also this can feed ppl who are on a very tight budget/lost their jobs due to pandemic or for a party with lots of people. None of these gonna upset your stomach since its all home made (Just check expiry dare like you usually do and you should be fine) I am vegetarian so would love dollar tree menus for vegetarians too ^^

Dollar/Pound shops can be a lifesaver! This video is insightful as to what you can do with the canned goods. It upsets me when people claim they have nothing to eat, but wont make anything out of their CUPBOARD ITEMS! The poundshop I go to sells pasta, lentils, rice and canned meats(Corned beef, ham etc Full of sodium though!). No excuses to being hungry! Dollar food can help people survive until next pay cheque.
