I finally found that beautiful Peel and stick subway tile in my dollar tree! I was so excited to use them in my kitchen but quickly got frustrated.

I bought my tiles months ago and just found your video. I watched another video and the maker had those little probs you addressed and didn't fix them. So thankful I found your video before I began. My husband really wants these tiles and we are getting ready to have kitchen remodeled. I am putting these up ahead of time to see if we want to spend the money to have the real tiles put up professionally. If we don't like these I can easily remove them and we can rethink backsplash. Thanks for the tip. I was using glue and it wasn’t working. Wish I found your video before I put the backsplash up but I still like them they look good in my kitchen. Made a big difference

I just bought a few of these for my kitchen, not realizing how the tile part was attached to the adhesive sheet. As you started pointing out the gap problem, and speaking of the glue options, I thought to myself, "I bet double sided tape might solve this problem", then lo and behold, lol. How did that tile hold up around the stove, particularly behind/above the stove? I've noted that some people have observed some warping, due to the heat. Did you have such issues, and if so, was there a viable solution that you came up with?

Great minds think alike! 😂 Ours held up well but we did end up moving out and having to remove them…I would say they were on there about a year. Are you looking to be there long term?

@@lisafayemedina3483 Oh, yes, I plan to live out my life here, so between 3 to 5 decades, depending on how long I live, lol. In that time, I expect that I'll completely remodel the kitchen, but realistically, that's probably another ten years off, at least. I've contemplated using an adhesive floor tile behind the stove, thinking that it may be better, long term. It's a thicker material, so theoretically, it should hold up. And, I note that it costs the same at the local Family Dollar Tree, if not slightly less.

Did you use any adhesive on the back of the tiles? Any other tips/tricks/advice I am putting these up soon and I'm super nervous going to mess it up lol

Hello, how long did this last? Was it placed over tile or do you have regular walling there? Also where did you apply the caulking? Or was it grout?I have the tiles and plan on applying them tomorrow

Please forgive me for just seeing your comment! Mine were on for about a year before we moved. I placed mine right onto the wall, we didn’t have tiles. I applied caulking to the top and bottom. I hope your project turned out beautifully
