Plot twist: Bruno is just acting out the telenovelas he streams on Future+ one episode at a time for Dolores' benefit. But this episode is the last one before the house falls, and Bruno genuinely does not know what happens next. So both he and Dolores are left hanging until the house is rebuilt and the magic returns.

At some point, Encanto happens and then Bruno rejoins the family. The telenovela just stops at a cliffhanger in the middle of the season, and Delores tracks Bruno down and he gladly continues his real gift, "acting." Then Mirabel sits in, and Antonio, then it becomes this whole Thing.
