Hi there! I have a M400 that I bought in 2017. I did troubleshooting and determined it was the motor box. I brought to service center and they said motor box is $500 and that they can’t get right now. My question is… should I just buy a new one or wait for the motor box? Thank you! Love your videos!

Its hard to say. If they are a dolphin repair center they should be able to buy directly from them. The part number 99953054-ASSY is in stock and is the motor you need. in terms of if its worth it. I would say you need to consider the condition the cable is in as well as the unit as a whole. 6 years is right in the middle of the average lifespan when taken care of before you need a major repair like this. If a cable goes that will be another 250 or so and whatever they charge you for labor on top of that and at that point we are at half the price of a new one with no warranties to keep you going if something happens. Definitley stay with an M400 though. You could probably sell yours for a few hundred and say it just needs a motor and include the caddy since a new one comes with another.

are you positive your wifi signal is strong enough. what kind of error are you running into?

How do you switch the modes on the M400?

the m400 does not switch. check the chart under the cleaning modes if you see the word OR that means it can be customized. If its just floor, walls, and waterline it means it does all of it. where the floor only ones will say floor, walls, and waterline OR floor only.
