Great comparison. I personally think bron can squeeze one more chip in there. He’s got enough in the tank. To play the way he’s playing at this age. Of course he’s injured more often, but it’s almost a given when his superstar co star is injured more than he is. Can’t rely on bron to be 2010-2018 bron at this point consistently but he can still go. He needs the right teammates and situation. It’s possible. We’ll see

What's interesting about the league right now is that it's really about to reset. Around every decade or so the older generation ages out and the new generation is ready to take over (You saw this with the Magic,Bird, Isiah generation in the early 90s MJ, Hakeem, Barkley generation in the late 90s/Early 2000s, the Kobe, Tim Duncan, KG, Dirk generation in the early 2010s, etc). Normally these guys dominate for 12-15 years, there are a couple of great draft classes and then a few years later the next generation is ready to take the mantle and dominate. The most fascinating storyline is who dominates the 2020s. You've got Giannis, Embiid, Jokic and Luka who are all in their Prime's right now trying to win as much as possible. You've got the Ja, Zion,Tatum, Booker,Donovan, Trae group that's great but trying to reach that Tier 1 status. Then you have all of the rookie contract guys (Edwards, Lamelo, Mobley, Cade, Scottie Barnes, Jalen Green, Banchero, Chet, etc) the group that has potential but has some unknown factors. Finally the guys who are going to be in the next 3-5 draft classes (Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson,etc). You have the obvious factors like injuries and guys under/overachieving. But it's going to be fascinating to see who that next Elite team is going to be and which players define this next era!

Lebron, steph, kd, etc era probably has 2 or 3 more years left then it will transition to the new generation but giannis and jokic aren't in their prime maybe close embiid might be in his prime and luka definitely isn't in his prime yet

The Westbrook situation is the most interesting to me. He’s been so close a few times. But him and kd were special. I KNOW this will not happen, but I just want somehow for the Russ and kd to be on the same team again. There chemistry and synergy was excellent. And honestly considering alot of people don’t count golden state for kd, when you think about it, the closest the two of them have been to a chip since they split , was playing with each other. Of course that only applies if you believe that the kd warriors didn’t really count.

I think KD will play most of this season with this squad because It's a legit nice team that can hold it's own.
