I'm a Mother of the Bride and am so thank-ful to have found your tutorial on how to make one of these! Your bouquet is absolutely beautiful and one that my daughter greatly admires to want to have for her own!! Appreciate the time you took to share your know how on this project!!!

Dear Jessica, after watching both of your videos on brooch bouquets, I've decided I'm definitely capable of making my own brooch bouquet instead of paying an outrageous price for someone to do it for me. also enlisted my moms help as well, great bonding experience for us both. oh and I thought of asking each of my aunts and grandmothers for something special of theirs to put in it as well. thank you thank you thank you!!!!

My daughter and I are having a great time for making her bouquet. Your help has been amazing! We couldn't have done it without your tutorials! Thank you Jessica!!!! (and ps - most people can't spend $600 on a bouquet - especially when you can do it yourself and it's more special!)

Great day to you Jessica, I just wanted to say that I think that your tutorials are wonderful and inspiring. Who cares what people say, I feel like you give people, who don't have $600 or more for a bouquet, hope that their wedding could look as breath-taking as they want. Keep doing what you do girl!! You work is *flawless* in my opinion!! Much love all the way from Oxford, NC!!

❤ this is 11 years ago and I still go back and watch it! I also watch her first one. I love brooches and have quite a few. Some were my grandmothers, my mothers, my mother-in-laws, they are all gone now. I have decided that this would be a beautiful way to honor and share their treasured pieces. I remember as a little girl, how much I admired them when they wore them, which was very often. Thank you for sharing this and giving me the idea of how to honor the loved women in our family who are gone. ❤❤

Thanks for the part one and two video! My girl and I just got engaged, and are getting married next October 2013 and we're on a budget. Your videos are so easy to follow and you do an awesome job! Forget the comments from the over priced $600 brooch bouquet makers. No disrespect, but that's just too high. Your video shows that personal touch, the way it should be made! Thanks again, you do an AWESOME job...

I've seen all kinds of tutorials here on KZbin, but I must say, you take the cake! Your instructions and explanations are so clear. Thank you again for creating these 2 videos for how to create our own brooch bouquets. And like another viewer commented, you are so classy in how you handled the negative comments from a company that felt threatened by what you are doing. Really, now?? They should demonstrate such class!

Thank you so much for your brooch bouquet videos. You are so thorough and easy to understand. Please don't take to heart what the company said. They failed to understand that you service a different market. You couldn't possibly have taken business away from them. Their clients have a very different wedding budget than the people you are helping. I can't believe they missed that! That is Business 101... Knowing your target market!!! Be encouraged. You are doing an excellent job!

Jessica, Thanks so much for making these tutorials.I too seen the brooch bouquets online and fell in love with them. I'm getting married in Aug and was advised ( by an event planner ) to not have real flowers. I live in Missouri and it's an outdoor wedding. I love the bling and the classic beauty of a brooch bouquet.

Love the tutorial!!! I'm newly engaged (January 2014) and I saw this and immediately said "I WANT THIS!!" but you're right about the price, the starting price for one is $600 so I will be making mine as well my throw bouquet and veil. I love crafting so I'm very excited to do and I love crafting so this is right up my alley, colors are Tiffany Blue, White and Black and I absolutely your white bouquet!!!

Love your tutorials! I am getting married in June of 2015. I had watched your tutorial on how to wrap the wire around the brooch and sooo much better than just wrapping around the pin. Do not listen to the company that left you nasty comments, they just look at their bottom line. I can afford to buy a bouquet, but why when you can make it yourself and the day is extra special because of your effort. I love DIY projects and your KZbin tutorials are fantastic!! Keep up the great work...

I normally never comment on the post but I did feel as if I had to on this. I love your brooch bouquet. I'm in the process of planning my wedding. We're already over budget and I wanted this bouquet so bad when I seen it at the florist today. She told me that it was a whopping $650. My jaw fell but I wanted it so bad. Looking at your tutorial, yours look way better than the florist. I'm so excited to make this for my wedding as well as save money. It makes great memorabilia; making it yourself.

I love this video and I have made two brooch bouquets so far but instead of twisting the floral wire by hand my husband introduced me to.... wait for it..... THE POWER DRILL! If you have quite a bit of brooches it really saves some time and it's tighter and neater. Just a little FYI for all the DIY brides!

Your how to video for the brooch bouquet is the best one I've seen and the least confusing. In the first part of the video I did ask what gauge wire to use, but that was my only question. Your how-to was easy to follow. The bouquet you made for your wedding is gorgeous! I'm using some silk flowers with the one I'm making for my daughter. I'll try to send a pic to your website when I get the finished product. As for the company that wrote you mean messages - to heck with them. They're just pissed that we consumers are trying to find ways to make things less expensively and do it ourselves. I do agree that if you have $600+ to pay somebody to make one then go for it; otherwise, most of us are on a wedding budget! I had to buy only a few brooches as the others were donated by family members which works great because the wedding theme is vintage elegance. My daughter's bouquet will consist of brooches from her grandmothers and great-grandmothers and a few from me. The ones I bought were purchased at an antique store because I wanted vintage. Thanks again for posting your videos. :)

I just wanted to say that both your tutorials have made it possible for me to create my brooch bouqet. I did mine with only 6-7 brooches in the bidesmaid/ MOH and 10-11 in my bouqet with silk flowers i made from another tutorital on KZbin. My wedding budget is crazy tight (some people said that my budget was impossible to have a beautiful elegant wedding on) so this made it possible for me to have the bouqet and look i wanted. Thank You. Also on a side note i dont subscribe to anyone on KZbin but i think you will be my first!

Hi Jessica! I happened to see one of these bouquets for sale on Etsy.com. The price astounded me. I started hunting for a DIY video for these bouquets. Yours is so easy to follow. Thanks SO much for making it. My husband and I will be renewing our wedding vows (30 years) in April. We're having the ceremony at The Bellagio Hotel in Vegas. I wanted something special and THIS is it. Mine will be smaller with just a hint of soft pink in it. I can't wait to get started making it. Thanks again!

Great tutorial. We've been collecting brooches for the last three years and have been purposely finding ones that match our theme. The hunt for these brooches has been fun and really brought us more together as a couple going to various flea markets, thrift stores and church rummage sales. As for the nasty comments from bouquet sellers, it really says more about them than you. If they feel that threatened by talented, thrifty brides then maybe they really aren't "all that" in the way of being crafters. I have been a crafter and designer for many years now and encourage folks to DIY their projects. We can all benefit and learn from each others skills.

This bouquet is beautiful. I have shared it with friends who want to make one also. I'm afraid I'll never need a bouquet again but I want to make one just for the sake of it. As for "way too much talking" she could've always turned it off & watched someone else I will never understand people leaving negative feedback they must not have a life. You did a fantastic job. One other thing I have just bought a LOT of brooches on ebay for the minimal cost of between $1 & $3.30 for a couple of huge ones delivered to my door which would make the cost only about $60 if you used at least 45 brooches. A real bouquet would cost a lot more for the lady who said she needs to live after the wedding. Well done love it

beautiful bouquet, Im also getting married in may 2016 and making my own brooch bouquet, my question how many synthetic flowers did you use and how many (about) brooch did use as well. furthermore i know this video is about wrapping the stem, i would like to know how did you wrap under the bouquet to hide the wires under not the stem. would you mind doing a tutorial video of the different ways you can wrap. for me i would like to use wire ribbon for under the flower, but i don't know how to do it.

I'm so happy to see you posted this. I plan to start making mine soon! I ordered 15 brooches to get me started and was planning on using 30 total but after seeing them together I'm thinking I might need more! How many did you end up using in your final bouquet? Thank you!

Hi Jessica, Great tutorial, thanks so much have got some real inspiration! I was just wondering though how exactly did you wire the pearls without the wire showing on one side of the pearl and it still being secure? Thankyou! xx

Thank you for sharing your video! I love the idea and plan to make one for my wedding! I'd like to know at the reception during the throwing of the bouquet, what did you throw? I wouldn't want to throw something so nice and handmade

Hey there! I didn't have a traditional wedding, so I didn't have a bridal party or through a bouquet. However, you can easily ask your florist to make you a very simple and small bouquet made from the same flowers you're using to decorate. Don't let your florist talk you into something elaborate as this will just get tossed.

I LOVE your tutorial. I have bought several things for my brooch bouquet but I'm having trouble with the wire. The one i bought was too flimsy. I was wondering what thickness did you use?

Hi Jessica, love the tutorials, they definitely have given me the confidence to have ago. Can you please tell me what strength wire you used for the brooches. Florests are telling me I won't be able to find silver wire that will be strong enough to hold the brooches. Also, I can also seem to find pre-cut wire which won't be long enough to fold. Many thanks Serena

Hi Jessica. Thank you for the great DIY video regarding brooch bouquets. I don't recall hearing you say what gauge wire you used and I couldn't make it out on the spool of wire you held up. Please advise. Thank you.

Hey Jessica, first of thank you so much for the tutorials on "how to make a brooch bouquet." They have saved my life while making mine. I was wondering if when you wrapped yours up in the paper towel center if you unraveled it then put it around your stems or if you left it the way it was then taped it with floral tape? Thank you again for the videos. -Mary :)

This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making this video! I fell in love with a brooch bouquet I found online, but it was far too expensive. This makes me hope I can pull it off. May I ask: how many brooches did you use in your bouquet?

Hi there Jessica. This looks absolutely amazing. I am just thinking at the moment of making my own, but just have a quick question about the shape if it. Did you use the flowers (from part one) in order to keep the shape of it beat and tidy - so that the flowers are underneath all the brooches?? Thanks, Erin

Beautiful bouquet. Just one question. Did you have some type of silk flower under the brooches in your wedding bouquet to give it shape?
