The only issue to be aware of, and I am sure you would know this is condensation on the outside of the freezer when in warmer climates, they just don’t have the amount if insulation that your old fridge did.

Another great video ! Good timing as I’m thinking of doing the same thing for my 1983 Westerly Sealord. Existing ‘cool’ box works ok ish but draws about 60 amps and is really noisy. Any idea on the power draw of yours ?

Wow 60amps is a lot! I’m on 24v system but my previous unit was drawing about 7amps and this new one 4amps max when freezing but a lot less once it’s frozen and cruising.

Is the cabinet well enough ventilated for cooling efficiency?

Yes there’s a big hole where the previous cooling fan used to be and plenty of space around the unit.
