I like claw-style bouncers more than the bumper humpers. To me, the claw style is the OG way from gow 1 till 3 and it's the way I hold my controller regardless.

Wall bouncing really not needed in gears 5 . But it does help you gimp/fake out players . I still do it cause its just how i play/move since gears 2 . Them "baby/small bounces mean nothing . You will get shot STILL
