Opium is also a joint venture under interscope which is under UMG as well but not connected to cartis original awge deal. all of Ken and Lones releases have been under the opium label or jointly with smaller labels that were later acquired by interscope or another subsidiary of UMG. do y’all self a favor and go look at the publishing label under all of opium artists releases (including carti) & then go to luckis releases. Not a single opium member release has their literal name in the publishing rights ever. Even the new all red single is still published through awge/interscope not opium weirdly meaning he isnt out of his deal yet? lucki has only his name on almost 100% of his releases ever & most of them he is the only publisher & even if its empire distributed, he is still named first…it ain’t about who make the most its who keep the paper longer son…
