I know you like just going off what the enchants say but like in most cases with Ascension the proper way to "min/max" a lot of RE's involves ignoring half or more of the RE and hyper focusing on one aspect of it. An issue with White Walker is that Winds of Winter has almost no spell power scaling, from my own build recently with it the difference between 5/5 Mental Quickness on a Str build with 3/3 Mental Quickness RE's and completely dropping hybrid spell power scaling was 600 damage on my Winds of Winters which were critting for nearly 9k. For raw aoe pumping for Mythics the best course of action is to go pure Str for raw AP, get 3/3 Cryokinesis and focus on talents and RE's that ramp up combo point generation while dropping Winds of Winter down to a 3 second cooldown for maximum spamming. Eviscerating for the fingers of frost is a dps loss since pumping out more Winds is better overall damage. Another hidden downside to the RE is that when the RE is equipped and alters the damage scaling of Sinister Strike to scale off of spell power it also nerfs its normal AP scaling so your Sinister Strikes hit for less than they would without the RE, so getting Hemo with a 1 talent dip into Deep Wounds and the 3 talents into Sinister Calling leads to a higher damage, more energy efficient combo point generator. It combines with Infused Energy RE to trigger a 15 energy reduction and 15% increased damage buff to Hemo when you use Winds along with Relentless Strikes refunding 25 energy to make a highly efficient loop. The damage increase and combo point generation boost by going this route far exceeds any damage lost to the nearly insignificant free, non-critting ice lances triggered from SS. In my build I went with Judgement of Wisdom along with Judge, Jury, and Executioner to make it into a 2 combo point generator and talented and RE'd into cooldown reduction to get it to 6 second cooldown along with Judgement of the Wise and Heart of the Crusader to fuel the mana costs of the Winds spam, generate more aoe damage, and debuff the target for more crits since I'm ignoring the minor crit scaling from Int. I also grabbed Seal of Vengeance to apply a holy dot to trigger the capstone of 5/5 Shadow Power for 12% more magic damage on target since the other spell crit damage scalers didn't really offer much for cold damage with their capstones. Since the build requires SnD to be up running 2/2 Imp SnD talents and 2/3 of the RE's to get the 5 point duration up to 48 seconds helps to maintain it during downtime between pulls so you can do straight into Winds spam with no ramp up. It also gets the haste bonus up to a flat 30% instead of 20%. My builds main issues are the fact I didn't roll Hemo or Deep Freeze so I have abysmal ST damage running the basic Sinister Strike and no big single target hit (although over 8k Winds hits are still decent in ST when they are coming every 3 seconds). I also didn't get the Cold Blooded to combo with Freezing Blood due to not realizing they had re-enabled Winds triggering it (during Malganis era the devs at one point released a patch that stopped it from triggering the cooldown reduction) and due to not having room with me running Prepare for Shatter, Infused Energy, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner, but its good to see that it works again. - Xenthalus

I got a build I would love for you to cover. I call it the Shield of Zeus. It's a hoplite legendary enchant build but we are adding some lightning spells with it. The WF Stormgarde makes shield slam proc a lightning discharge when Lightning shield is up. I wanted to build upon this and found another epic enchant called Power Loop. When ever you use up combo points you'll get a stacks of Maelstrom weapon which can make your lightning bolt or chain lightning instant when at 5 stacks. It also works in reverse in that using Maelstrom gives you combo points. This gives Hoplite the much needed aoe damage that it is lacking and man it does good burst damage. Making me at the top or second in heroic dungeons thus far. Only issue's so far is that it is very mana hungry in group fights and has pretty high aggro. ~Grentt

I’m working on it atm and for PvP I’m using shaman dps mail along with holy/ret plate, not at the point the gen, enchant, and macro, but omg I’m loving it! *I started leaving and kept it on PvP and auto slotting, but whatever works for you, go for it!*

Love it! I was trying to make a tank version of this using strength turning it into a parry tank of sorts but does feel quite squishy with the aoe ramp up time. - Veladrelia

Consecration + 1point in improved and judgement + 3 points to make it aoe on retri pala talent enough aoe aggro maker so that u can ramp up with cold after any of those 2 options

It's an old realm with a lot of baggage. Good for new players to learn how to make builds. It's *ok* for people who hate rng bc you can pick what you want, but only on a far progressed server in the TBC expansion and without a lot of the new stuff you see on the draft server. Overall, they could do better.

I know you have some attack power pieces but is that actually worth the 5 talent points without a good amount of AP?
