Wotten Waven is a tiny village well-known for its natural hot sulfur springs and mud pools that are believed to have medicinal qualities but did u know it sits on the top of a volcano ? Wotton Waven is situated on top of the Wotton Waven Caldera, one of Dominica's many active volcanoes.

We found having a wetsuit makes river adventures like Titou Gorge more enjoyable! Let us know the next time you come back. I'll break out the camera gear and recommend Chardere falls: jumping off cliffs and riding down water fall

Drop me a line if you come to Nature Island. My wife and I have been here many years. Best places in addition to that seen: Trafalgar falls (hot springs at top), Chardere fall (jumping off cliff and riding down water fall), Freshwater Lake hike - magical like Andes Mountains!

@@PolishBehemoth Hi, it's been about 1.75 years since the comment. Ended up moving to Kenya instead and living next to Mount Kenya. Really really really good. However, I do wish Dominica could have played out. It was just prohibitively expensive at the time for our family to go there. My wife is Kenyan so we came here instead. flights, housing, relocation costs to the island were very high. I noticed there were not even advertised places to stay less than 300 a night , so you'd have to get there first to find anything for rent ..... I'm sure it's very doable , but our life just took a different direction. We think VERY fondly of Dominica and still want to go one day, but for now this is where we are meant to be
