@@zGJungle Tony Ferguson is another one that is kinda "stiff" in his movement. Take that with a grain of salt but I think it's a result of mma training. I do neck isolation exercises for Bjj and I've noticed a lack of range motion in my movements. My body "turns" when I turn my head. I think it's a way of the body protecting the neck specially during grappling. Get guillotined enough times and your body will stiffen up that part. On the other side it can be just a muscular imbalance due to repetitive motions. Just like a judoka with claw like fingers or a rock climber with protruding scapulas.

Nightfall Studios exactly what I mean , what I love about Adesanya and Cruz is their footwork behind everything, it allows them to be better prepared for wrestlers . I also like that he based his style off being the smaller guy so it could probably work okay moving up in divisions. As for the ducking and diving you’ve got to know when it’s applicable, like he shouldn’t been weaving under Cejudos punches - he’s too short for that .That sort of poor application allowed him to get finished . Still , he’s an excellent mind and I’d bet he’d be a sick coach .

He started with the strikes from MT and Boxing then added his foot movement and elusiveness from Boxing but changed it a LOT to add more movement which also dealt with take downs, throws etc. He means by fighting off the line - that fight line which most styles start throwing their tools from..when you understand that line, you understand how to stay off that line that your opponent is firing from.

the footwork is an exaggerated capoeira jinga with embelishments. the rhythmic footwork encourages the opponent to anticipate a rhythm, but there's nothing stopping him from breaking that rhythm to evade and attack. it puts a lot of pressure on opponents who are unfamiliar with the footwork, but as a capoeira player myself, i'll add that a speedy, technical, creative jinga puts a lot of pressure on even those that ARE familiar with it. he even uses some capoeira regional techniques in his fights, ie. switch-kick front leg roundhouse... an iconic kick in capoeira regional.

How was he talking to him like he’s not a genius? Joe tends to interject and cut a lot of guests off. With Cruz he is asking a question then staying silent and allowing Dom to give a full explanation and take the conversation in any direction he wants to. He was showing tremendous respect for Dominick’s knowledge in this interview.

THE KING WILL BE BACK I’m 135 lbs 17 years old and I work from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday since I finished school early, I’ve been training for a little while now and will start as an amateur soon so you’re assumption was incorrect. So you don’t make that mistake in the future how about not calling someone you’ve never met before something that you’d have to meet them to know if anything I’m underweight.😂

I see what youre saying, Cruz has really profound points and Joe's retorts try to add to the conversation but theyre so diluted they dont even really explore a relevant tangent to Cruz's comments. It almost seems to frustrate Cruz
