While I am very glad to see this return, the pedant in me feels the need to say that Cavernwights are not undead Cyclopes, they’re undead Pale Ones. Sure, Pale Ones only have one eye, but are a distinct species from the Cyclopes employed by a handful of nations like EA Mekone.

I think at least some of your enemies have access to assassins or spells like arrow from the sky. You have zero reason to not twiceborn that amazing mage right away. He can be your gateway to so many awesome things. Also, you could even sitesearch with him and feel a little bit safe doing so, after casting twiceborn. As for those 100 glamour gems you have collected, you might be interested to know that glamour has research boosters (for glamour mages). Still, might be the fastest way to make your research rate skyrocket. Ps. Nice to see that Dominions is back. I learned the game by watching your old videos this autumn and winter. I have been a long time occasional viewer but had somehow managed to miss out on Dominions until semi-recently. I guess I had never heard of the game before, so I did not recognize it for the gem that it was until now. Pps. Hope to see you try out more interesting nations and strategies in general. You always go for the same global spells (sometimes with good reason) but I think there are still many cool things left to try. Would like to see the Wild Hunt in action some day. Could be an amazing strat to relieve pressure on your dominion. As for nations, I completely understand the new things that the randomizer brings, but I think vanilla nations can still offer you more challenges than you think. In this campaign as well as the one that you lost with pigmy crocodiles, there always seems to be a bit of Mictlan (or at least some other mesoamerican nation) mixed in with something else. One of the first games I tried (and failed) was a game where I played as EA Mictlan. They have unique mechanics, in the sense that their temples do nothing unless you actively have people performing blood sacrifice. Seeing how you are often hard pressed on dominion, playing EA Mictlan might be more of a challenge than you think. I have read that the nation does have its upsides, but it is very possible to die before you ever get to see those upsides. Thanks for the good content. It is appreciated.

If Asphodel is such a terrible nation, that obviously means you need to play it! After all, ive been watching you conquer terrible circumstance since Manipur! (You should definitely add Manipur to the province name list, now that I think about it)

I would like to see a run where the god is called "magic isn't real" and the troops are all non-magical. It would be difficult and a slog, but the victory would be so much the sweeter for it.

Having this on the background. Jake sounds like a TV show talking about a made up video game. "Oh my level 3 darkseer has infilatrated the realm of the flying beasts, using his mole-gasus to borrow through the earth. However, he stubbed his toe and now has big toe ouchie. He also got the dark curse, so now I have to sacrifice 35 blood virgins before the next rising of the mountain skeletons, otherwise..."

2:00:00 Oh man that hit home since in one of the runs I did, I lost a Heliophagus (very high tier blood summon) in the Arena since it decided some skeletons were a better target than the mage (admittedly a Hero from LA Mictlan) summoning them, then it died from Hand of Death.

2:43:22 😂 He needs songs about him. 2:54:16 3xAttack 15 skills - ouch 2:55:18 That symbol is a hidden foreign stealth priest preaching down your dominion: it can be from an event (=independent), or it can be stealth priests from another player / empire; they usually get discovered after 3 or four rounds of patrolling (PD 15 gives 1 Patrol; faster with higher Patrol strength), when discovered there is a little battle: if it is from an event, the independent priest will have 20 followers (weak Militia sort), if it from another player, it will be just the priest (- like discovering a scout / spy).

Kingdom Come 2 is a game I will enjoy in my own time, instead of streaming it. I want to maximize my own enjoyment of it, and I feel that's best done at my own pace, rather than on stream. I don't often feel that way about games, but I do for KCD2. Plus, the things I plan on doing in that game would have me shadowbanned from life if I streamed them.
