My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer. This time last year he was in a really bad critical situation. Due to covid, hospital in Vietnam only allowed 1 person to stay at the hospital. So my mom was taking care of my dad in the hospital and I was running around bringing them things they need. My dad was very alert at that time, he did not want me to help him with bathing or bathroom, that's why my mom was the one in the hospital. Other time I stayed home and prayed... I found this prayer, and I just did the rosary and this prayer whenever I have time, when I go to bed, when I wake up... My dad finally found a better hospital that agreed to treat him, they did surgery for him and said my dad got 1 year... today is exactly one year after surgery. My dad is well and getting better. ​My blood pressure was elevated and started seeing a black spot on TV screen....took my bp meds and decided I needed to rest after working a 12 hour nightshift. Woke up a few hours later and could only see half my cell phone screen . I decided I better get to an urgent care clinic. I am amazed I was able to drive myself as it was storming with rain, lightening. I do recall hitting a curb by the urgent care clinic. My son lived 40 minutes away but met me at clinic. The doctor at clinic sent me via ambulance to hospital 8 miles away. They kept me 3 nights...did CT scans and MRI which showed small white area where stroke/TIA had occured. No bleeding thankfully. The neurologist said the neurons would heal themselves by creating new pathways and they did. I was instructed to take 80mg baby aspirin daily and increase bp meds. My labwork was not too abnormal....my potassium was quite low and so was magnesium. So between my electrolytes being off and bp being too high---those were contributing factors that affected me. ​I was also under lots of job stress and had lost my medical insurance also. My husband had the radical prostatectomy pelvic lymphandectomy on 3/9. My wish was the margins were clean and it did not spread. the pathology came back and said the margins were not clean, and the cancer went outside the prostate, and he remains a stage 3b very aggressive prostate cancer.
