His songs have great lyrics that match well with Scripture and tell a story that leads to Jesus. I can't wait to see Jesus who saved me in 1980 and music like this helped me to grow and remember parts of The Word. Thank you Don Francisco and more than that thank you Jesus!

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The line that saddens me to my core 'He eats his meals in sorrow 'til he sinks in to the dust whence he came But all down through the ages he can hear his Maker calling out his name.' How soul crushing would it be to know Gods face and hear his words, not just in your heart, and be cut off from him until you are called home.

Your words brought me to tears and I wanted to comfort you so much but I know there is no words to heal the pain that you feel. All I can offer you is the Love and Hope we have in the SOON return of Our Lord Jesus Christ to take us home to heaven to be with Our Father and our loved one's again. When Jesus steps out On a cloud to call His children The dead in Christ shall rise To meet Him in the air And it's closer now That it's ever been And then those that remain Shall be quickly changed; At the midnight cry We'll be going home Ivan Parker - Midnight Cry kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZmpZKGOrJ2ef9E Much Love, Prayers and God Blessings to you x

The first time I ever heard this powerful song, I was a kid growing up in India 1981... the lyrics so gripped my heart, decades later, as an aspiring Senate Candidate in Australia 2016 when at many a speaking event and if it was at a Church, I would open my speech by reciting the lyrics from the first verse in this song.... "But the master of deception"..... I still rate this song as one of the most powerful songs in Christendom. I have also had the high honour of meeting Don when I lived in the UK.

This is a good song. These are the first words Jehovah God spoke to Adam after the first sin: "Where are you?" The question puts the sinner's focus on his need for the Savior. The gospel is only "good" news to the person who sees where they are; afraid, naked, and hiding.

PT007able If god is omniscient it means he knew beforehand implications and consequences and still allowed it to happen. He could have stopped all the miseries by killing Satan then. The fact that he didn't , when he could means he is at fault .Adam and Eve did not know good or evil before eating the fruit so they did not know what was wrong. They only realized good and evil , thanks to the snake who told them the truth.

+wedzistar1 God knew that. He knew that by creating His children, made in His very image, that they would have the power to freely choose their destiny. For that reason, from before the foundation of the world, before it was ever spoken into existence, Jesus, the second Person of God, willingly agreed to lay down his life for the children who would stumble. It is now the choice of each of us as to whether we will place our trust in that Person, who took our punishment we deserve. That is the most amazing truth right there.

Don Francisco really is an amazing singer. His voice is very good, he has a nice sense of tune and when to change from what's expected (4:15's change in tone gives me shivers). The lyrics are truly wonderful in staying true to the stories and themes he wants to sing about. I listened to him as a child and a teenager when I was a Christian. Now that I'm an athiest, I still listen to him from time to time because of the above reasons. Each time I hear this song though, I'm reminded why I'm an athiest. It's summarized in one line "and all their unborn children die as both of them bow down to Satan's hand." I have a number of reasons for not believing in a personal, loving God. The Judeo-Christian God specifically I have a hard time believing in for those reasons plus the implications of that one line. Look at that line. Read it. Think about it. Because two innocents who were simply told "Don't do something." by their Father, did that thing when tricked by 'the master of deception' (not 'the being somewhat good at deception', not even 'the minion of deception'), hundreds of billions of people have suffered pain of some sort (from the spectrum of very little overall to agony most of their lives) and all of them die. And this was the ONLY thing their Father told them not to do. He didn't have to have that temptation present for them. and if he hadn't then they never would have sinned. Ok, so maybe many Christians reject the literalness of the story, but the basic points still stand. The original humans did something God told them not to do, even though it seems he could have set things up so that temptation was not present, and because of that every human since has suffered and died. I have a real problem with an all powerful, all present, all loving God who could allow that to happen. I can hear people thinking it... so I'll give those people a question so they can say it. Why couldn't an all powerful, all present, all knowing, all loving God create humans in a paradise so they would never sin? Go ahead... say it. Free will, right? Ignoring that the Bible doesn't really mention the concept of Free Will that much (and in many cases God himself hardens the hearts of people who had decided to actually give in and do what He asked them to do, so that he could instead show his power), I'll grant that we have Free Will, which means that if the Genesis stories are true, that Adam and Eve could sin. Ok. So what about Heaven? Will we have Free Will there or not? If yes, then doesn't that mean someone could sin in Heaven and bring it all crashing down again? Otherwise it seems that God CAN create a place where people will never sin. If we won't have Free Will there, then what's the point? I haven't talked much about Hell, but it's a bit related to this essay. I'll assume there's a Hell and that somehow it's consistent with an all good and all powerful God that the only thing that can be done to souls who don't accept Jesus is to send them to a fiery pit for all eternity no matter if they were Hitler or someone who loves his family, tries to do right by other people because she thinks this is the only life they have so they deserve as little pain as possible, and so on.. By the way, stop for a moment and think about 'burning in a fiery pit for all eternity". For starters, just imagine burning for your entire life so far. I asked a friend once how my dad could be perfectly happy in Heaven (where I am sure he is if Christianity is true) while his son (who loved him very much and who was loved by him very much) burns in a fiery pit for all eternity. My friend replied that perhaps I underestimated the power of being inside of God's presence and that my dad would be unable to feel anything but pure bliss. This kind of gets back to the whole "no free will" thing, or at the very least sounds like a form of heavy duty personality control, but never mind. Let's say that everyone in Heaven won't feel any less happy because friends, lovers, acquaintances, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, teachers, etc that they've known are burning in a fiery pit for all eternity. Then what precisely was the point of their lives? What was the point of LOVING someone on Earth, which the Bible very eloquently praises in Jesus' teachings? Apparently absolutely nothing, because people in Heaven won't care that those they loved on Earth are in Hell.

You certainly have very good logic, I do not speak good English nor I understand Bible very well. I can see that you are very smart educated, you just got me thinking... As far as my own obersavacations, some people are logic and bound by reason, like yourself, and some people are more emotional, they believe what they feel. Either logic or feelings is 100% correct, be it big Bang Theory or creation, I suspect anyone really knows, we believe but none of us can say we know, we are sure. So I think peace is more important than being right or wrong. Religion offer hope, in some instances (some comments here, their dear children died, I can imagine there's no way their parents heart can be slightly lifted but hope). For me religion teaches me to be more humble, love your neighbor like love yourself, although I am struggle to believe creation, but different to you, I grew up atheist, I saw people are consumed with materials, ego power etc, religion kind of want me to think my identity, what's really matter in life, which is love. Just here to offer a bit different perception. I wish this world will be a truly peaceful loving place. Have a good life!

Words offer little comfort in what you're going through..... especially from strangers but l am praying for you. Such grief as yours must be unbearable, you can't carry it alone. Not trying to preach, but speaking from my own dark experiences, take what you're feeling and share it with Christ in prayer, let it out, be honest, l read once that the most sincerest prayers are those that can only be described as a cry. Christ will grieve with you, lend comfort, He did for me. Take care.

Unashamed and naked in a garden that has never seen the rain, Rulers of a kingdom, full of joy -- never marred by any pain, The morning all around them seems to celebrate the life they've just begun; And in the majesty of innocence the king and queen come walking in the sun But the master of deception now begins with his discection of the Word And with all of his craft and subtly the serpent twists the simple truths they've heard, While hanging in the balance is a world that has been placed at their command And all their unborn children die as both of them bow down to Satan's hand. And just before the ev'ning in the cool of the day, They hear the voice of God as He is walking And they can't abide His presence, so they try to hide away; But still they hear the sound as He is calling: "Adam, Adam, where are you? Adam, Adam, where are you? Adam, Adam, where are you?" In the stifling heat of summer now the gard'ner and his wife are in the field And it seems that thorns and thistles are the only crop his stuggles ever yield He eats his meals in sorrow 'til he sinks in to the dust whence he came But all down through the ages he can hear his Maker calling out his name. "Adam, Adam, where are you? Adam, Adam, where are you?" And though the curse has long be broken Adams' sons are still the prisners of their fears Rushing helter skelter to destrution with their fingers in their ears While the Fathers voice is calling with an urgency I've never heard before "Won't you come in from the darkness now before it's time to finally close the door!" "Adam, Adam, where are you? Adam, Adam, where are you? Adam, Adam, I love you!" Naar het Nederlands vertalen

I think Adam chose to walk his own path and seen that in death it is better to have lived the life you loved rather than walk the path given. A free spirit who was smothered by Gods love. Love doesn’t hold it sets you free and I think this is perfect example.

And it seems that you have fallen for the same lie that Satan told Adam and Eve and put us all in our present situation, that living under God's love and moral authority, we are "missing out" , that God is a cosmic buzz killer that we are somehow less free Apply your thought to raising children, " Oh, l can't show them what's right or wrong because to show authority and discipline would take away their " free spirit"." Really? Oft times love is shown by being denied what we think we want. There's an old nautical maxim that goes "The Sailor who is servant to the compass has the freedom of the seas." God is our compass, His ways are perfect and unerring but man prefers his own relativistic, right for the moment, pretzel logic moral standards and when he ends up on the rocky shoals, and hurting himself as well as others, he tries to comfort himself by saying " Well, l did it MY way."

I am a high school senior. I go to a still pretty conservitive school. But we're discussing Evolution in Biology II for the millionth time since I've been in school. I remember when this would have been ridiculous. But now? You have to keep religion out of science. God is to abstract.. But I say, look at me, look at the students in the classroom, look out the window, and you'll see him. He's in everything. Second hour is Karl Marx... I can't help wondering what happened to us as God's children..

Dear Emily, keep the Faith my dear. I hold a master's degree and yet I remain a creationist. All the icon of evolution shows is an ape growing taller. Is that really so complex that the ancients could not have understood it had God revealed it so to them? Yet the Lord's recount of the six days of creation has been divinely revealed three times after the same fashion. Why would God have done this unless he meant what he told us? May God guide you all your days my dear young lady.

@Emily Duncan. You are probably out of college by now. Hon, there's a storm gathering. The darkness is growing thicker, and the thunder louder. Satan is angry. He knows that he only has a short time left. If we close our eyes and walk by faith, holding to God in the Spirit, laying the stones of the Word of the Most High God in our pathways as we go, we won't get lost in the darkness. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His glorious face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim- in the light of His glory and grace."

To Robert Gamble Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, Heb 6:5 and have tasted the good Word of God and the powers of the world to come, Heb 6:6 and who have fallen away; it is impossible, I say, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify the Son of God afresh to themselves and put Him to an open shame. You may note that I start by using a bit of the book of Hebrews. You see if you once, in fact, tasted of the heavenly gift of salvation, had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, feed on the Word of God, and had experienced the power of the things to come and then you turned your back on it all then there is no way you can again come to the saving knowledge of Christ. You are by your word doomed to hell which you put you in a very unique place. You were able by some means to wrestle with God and throw Him out of His temple which you were at one time. I might suggest your God is too small; mine won’t leave though I am sure I have tried His patience to the limit. So let me suggest that if you read Job you will find a sort of answer. It is not a very comforting answer but it is what it is. Before we take this rather long and really insignificant journey let me give you a little personal history. God entered my life in January of 1971. In August of ’71 my fiancée died after a long painful battle with cancer. I finished community college in ’73 and enrolled in a small Bible College where I attended until ’75. In the fall of ’75 I got married to a woman I had met in the college. In ‘78 our son was born. In ‘80 I lost my job and discovered my wife was committing adultery. We got divorced and I got custody. I was a single parent from basically ’84 to ’97 when he got married. I left out a lot but for a time she had our son and basically she would take him to some guy’s home so she could get laid. If you are married and have children think on that real hard. I will confess I fought God over my ex-wife a lot. First I prayed to have her back even though she had been unfaithful. After she moved back in, I experienced God granting my wish but sent leanness to my soul. She left me for a friend of mine who is 4’ 6” tall, a foot shorted than her. Where was God during all this? Right there by my side. Here again read Job, He allowed things in my life that were and, to an extent, are very painful. If we accept the testimony of Paul, he also had very difficult and painful experiences. But they are nothing compared to the love and experience I have with God. What I have said in my short statement is to let you know that I speak from experience. Now let’s talk about your little rant. You mention free will that was settled by Martin Luther in his pamphlet ‘On the Bondage of the Will’ Our will is subject to our nature as it is with everything that lives Adam was created with the ability to obey, but not the power. We do not know how long Satan worked on them. It is interesting to note that Eve gave in first and Adam had to choose between God and his wife. If Adam not eaten of the fruit and Eve did then only she would have been guilty of sin. Might have been are interesting but basically useless. Now we get to the crux of your difficulty, could God have made things different? Absolutely, but He did not. Why? That is a question God never answers. Read Job Job 40:1 And Jehovah answered Job and said, Job 40:2 Shall a reprover contend with the Almighty? He who reproves God, let him answer it. Job 40:3 And Job answered Jehovah and said, Job 40:4 Behold, I am vile! What shall I answer You? I will lay my hand on my mouth. Job 40:5 Once I have spoken; but I will not answer; yea, twice, but I will go no further. Job 40:6 And Jehovah answered Job out of the tempest, and said, Job 40:7 Now gird up your loins like a man. I will question you, and you teach Me. Job 40:8 Will you also set aside My judgment? Will you condemn Me so that you may be justified? Interestingly enough this is exactly what you do. According to your rant God fails your test on how the world should operate. Tell me can you love someone who is perfect? Can you show your tolerance and forgiveness to someone who has done no wrong? Maybe that is why God has done what He has done, so He can prove the level and depths of His love and forgiveness. Had He struck Adam and Eve down that day then we would have never come into existence but He choose not to and as a result of His actions some remnant have found grace in His eyes and will live in His presence. But also as a result of not destroying Adam, He had to sacrifice Himself to redeem His elect. As an aside my PhD dissertation is on cost/benefit analysis of extremely large infrastructure projects. I can tell you now that the cost/benefit analysis of God redeeming His elect is negative as far as I can determine. However as Isa 53:11 states ‘He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge the righteous One, My Servant, shall justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.’ So I do not see things for God’s perspective. I am just as finite as you are. It is just that I have decided not to figure out why God does what He does. Job went through more misery than you and I have together yet God’s response is basically to say I am God that is all you need to know. In Esther we see the same being played out but without the behind the scene actions we see in Job. The answer remains the same. God has the right by creation to do what He will with His creation. Now lest we feel that God is unfair in this respect consider Boeing, they produce a new airplane that build several as test beds including destructive test. They fold the wings up about the body until the wing is torn off. Other industries test both with their own products and with animals. Have you ever heard of LD or LC? These are the Lethal Dose and Lethal Concentrations for exposure to chemicals or fumes. They do not expose people to these concentrations but certain animals where the levels kill 50% of the subjects. I am not saying anything of the practice but rather showing that if we do it how can we condemn God if He does the same. I am not saying even that He does but rather this is speculation on my part for the difference in perspective. The primary issue here is that God has an inherent right to do with His creation what He sees fit. Continually throughout Scripture we are given this perspective; can the clay say to the pottery why have you made me thus? After Adam’s fall we are all dead in our sins. We inherited his nature and act accordingly. We are inherently sinful and we seek to sin more. No parent has ever had to teach their child to do ill, to disobey, or to be immoral. Parents’ at least good ones spend a lot of time trying to teach their children to be obedient and to be responsible. Being responsible means accepting the consequences of your own actions. One of my favorite examples is abortion. It was strongly suggested that my wife and I have one, since supposedly we were not financially ready to be parents. I will let you in on a little secret if you wait until you can afford children you will never have one. But we were expecting as a result of consensual sex. One of the possible consequences of sexual intercourse is pregnancy. I have only heard of one time where sexual intercourse was not part of the process and that was Jesus Christ. So here is the example of the ultimate in being irresponsible; engaging in sex and then destroying the fetus when the result is a pregnancy. I am all in favor of pro-choice, but the choice is to engage in sex or to abstain. From 1986 - 1997 I was celibate I was raising my son and to engage in sex outside of marriage would have been to set a bad example for my child. It was not a lot of fun but it is possible and we need to get away from the idea of self-gratification being the sole purpose of life. That brings me to your question of if we don’t know each other in heaven what was the point? Do you remember anyone from your 1st grade class? If not what was the point of making friends? The point was learning to make friends. The point of our lives is not the relationships, the whole purpose of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. The point of our relationships here is to prepare us for relationships there even if the only relationship we have is with God. I do not know what heaven will be like nor does any man who lives of this earth. It has not been revealed to us. C. S. Lewis in his book A Grief Observed states that in a conversation with Joy she stated that even if they died on the same night they would not know each other in heaven. We are all different and have different needs so our experience both in this life and in eternity are and will be different. I will not miss any of my loved ones and not know or remember if they are there, I will be totally absorbed in God revealing to me the totality of His grace. I will be actively seeking and perfectly doing His good will. Sorry if this does not fit into your concept of heaven. Now for hell, come judgment day the dead will be resurrected and we will all stand before God. The primary attribute of God is not love, or mercy, or grace. God’s overriding nature is one of holiness. We see this in Isa. 6 and Rev 4. So our experience at the resurrection will be our exposure to God’s holiness. Guess what we on our own cannot stand His holiness. I know of a man who retired as a fireman. He related to me one of his experiences. There was a fire inside an oil tank caused when they cut a hole in the side. He was pouring water from his hose onto the fire when the water expanded it was like he was standing in front of a blast furnace. His water protected him but everyone else scattered. That is how I view judgment day. Those in Christ and chosen by God have the shield of Christ’s blood between us and God’s holiness. Those who have not known Christ will face God dressed in their own holiness and righteousness.

In regard to your first paragraph about rejecting God and not being able to be saved again, I think what is actually meant is that the kind of people who reject God, despite receiving his Holy Spirit, are people whose hearts have been so hardened (so hardened that they would even reject God and all his knowledge) and who are so deceived (thus they being *once* enlightened) that they will never turn back to God. It seems that God is referring to those who have a _"reprobate"_ mind; and are not those who once knew the righteousness of God (and even still believe he exists) truly reprobate and wicked in heart and mind that they are unlikely accept Christ again? God knows this type of person is not going to ever repent. But perhaps there are some backsliders who will again repent if they weren't fully filled with God's knowledge and spirit to begin with (only God knows our hearts). But I don't think the book of Hebrews means to say that God will outright reject those who truly seek to return to holiness. P.S: As a former atheist myself, I can say with all confidence that Robert Gamble is being deceived. We should pray that he is not truly reprobate in heart and will return to Christ some day.

Bob Stewart The song actually shows that God couldn't find Adam and is not omniscient. That may explain why he allows innocent little girls and boys to be raped without doing anything about it. The fact that God is not all powerful is revealed in Judges 1 :19 Now the LORD was with Judah, and they took possession of the hill country; but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had iron chariots. So God failed because of chariots of iron so much for being a might God

Bob Stewart The story about Job that you quoted clearly shows that God if he is real ,is evil. How could he punish an innocent man because of a bet. In that story Satan and God are clearly pals working together to achieve dastardly games. When Job asks God why he was punishing him. Talk about being rude . The god displayed in this book is extremely arrogant and rude. You can only see story for what it is if you remove those faith tinted glasses that cloud your judgement. There is no way this story casts god in a positive light.

+wedzistar1 God asking Adam where he was is the 1st recoded instance of a gotcha question. Example: when my son was 10 he was into baseball with the various equipment. I was laying on the sofa one evening and when I turned the page I noticed some paint marks on the ceiling, blue and red the color of his baseball bats. So I call out and asked 'have you been swinging your bats in the house?' I already knew he had, but I asked a gotcha question. His response was 'No' So then I asked how the paint got on the ceiling, no response. I then said 'Let's stop doing that shall we.' So God asking Adam where he was did not indicate the lack of knowledge on God's part but highlighted the reason Adam was trying to hide. We try to hide from God, we can't but we try. Why? Because He is holy and we are not. We try to hide from our actions. If you need proof go to traffic court. Almost everybody has an excuse for it not being their fault that they got a ticket, but if you listen it is simply an attempt to avoid the consequences of their own actions. As for innocent boys and girls I might point to our abortion industry and suggest that over 90% of abortions are the result of an attempt to avoid personal responsibility. However what is the cause of evil in this world? Why was Adam hiding and we are the sons of Adam with his fallen nature. The question is not God not doing anything about it but why does it not happen more often? Look what atheism has shown us; 11 million under Hitler, 20 million under Stalin, 200 million under Mao and between 1/4 to 1/3 the population of Cambodia under Pal Pot. So when it comes to killing the innocent atheism takes the prize. Could God have prevented it, yes. But He is under no obligation to do so. We rebelled against Him, so He is allowing us to suffer some of the consequences of our rebellion. Paul says as much in Romans when he says God gave them over to a reprobate mind. As for Judges please also read Joshua 17:15 -16 It would appear that God had given them the highland, but they wanted more and attempted to take the lowlands and failed. Please also note that God had told them when they crossed the Jordan that subduing the land would be a slow process because He did not want it to revert to a wilderness until they were of a large enough population to maintain the land. Try to take the Bible in the whole context.

Now let's tell you a story about a man named Jesus: A god assaulted, by proxy, inseminated a 'virgin' named Mary, in order to bring his son incarnate into our world. A cowardly action.... Mary and her fiance?, ....Joseph, had to travel to Bethlehem to register for the census. There Mary gave birth to a son of a god.? God put a star in the sky to guide people to the baby? In a dream God told Joseph to take his family to Egypt. Then this God stood by and watched as Herod killed thousands and thousands of babies in Israel in an attempt to kill Jesus. (wow!) As a man, God's son claimed that he was God incarnate: "I am the way, the truth and the life," he said. This man performed many 'miracles'. He healed lots of sick people. He turned water into wine. These miracles prove that he is God? Miracles?? But he was eventually given the death sentence and killed by crucifixion. His body was placed in a tomb. But three days later, the tomb was empty. And the man, alive once again but still with his wounds (so anyone who doubted could see them and touch them), appeared to many people in many places. Then he ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of his god the father almighty, never to be seen again. Today you can have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. You can pray to this man and he will answer your prayers. He will cure your diseases, rescue you from emergencies, help you make important business and family decisions, comfort you in times of worry and grief, etc. This man will also give you eternal life, and if you are good he has a place for you in heaven after you die. The reason we know all this is because, after the man died, four people named Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote accounts of the man's life. Their written attestations are proof of the veracity of this story. This is the story of a Jesus. "" Do you believe this story? You are Delusional !!~! *However any debate on this is useless - since a god needs to be proven - First. However, .... any debate on this is useless, since a god needs to be proven - First. FIRST !!!

Your inability to fathom anything beyond the end of your nose is no reflection on the truth you cannot see. That you personally reject the truth gives no weight to your argument of God's existence, that you mistake disrespectful smug derision for intelligent reasoning just shows that you are of the 99% of atheists who leave such inanity, thinking themselves intellectually superior. That's all you have to prove your own self worth, deriding the belief of others, it's a poor substitute to the peace Christians are offered. But that's your choice.
