While I usually like all your videos, the Don Jon one is imo the best. I’ve even shared it to my friends, which is something I rarely do with video essays on youtube since the language barrier becomes too much of a problem. I think yours is the best type of content one can find on youtube and it’s a huge shame it’s not promoted and cherished enough. Thanks for your continues efforts.

I used copywritten music in a video, it got blocked. I disputed it, they maintained. I used KZbin's music changer tool to replace it with music from YT's audio library. The video remained blocked. I appealed the claim, knowing that the copyright holder would now be seeing a video that doesn't have any of their music in it. They disagreed, so the video remains blocked. Almost got a strike, too. Very frustrating.

YT copyright system it has been adequate to encourage big companies to produce on YT and to be the first in being benefit from it. The pro freelance or independent content creator times are gone. But in numbers there is strength and you aren't alone.
