Not only does this tell me how to eat an avalanch it also makes me go and seek out one to chow down on. This guy is not only called don but also simply is THE DON!!!
@temestoles16 жыл бұрын
exactly, I had given up my guitar playing hobby, but after seeing here the candyrat artists I did buy classical nylon string guitar from the flea market with 35 €, and started to learn finger picking and now I`m into guitar playing more than ever. Also when I play online poker I listen always those guys, it relaxes me and I play better.

I just like the title of the song, well, that and the song itself. I was losing interest in guitar because I was having trouble finding good fingerstyle songs to learn. Don Ross and the Candyrat guys have inspired me to pick the guitar back up and learn new stuff again. I want to write my own songs, soon.

I can not begin to express how incredibly great this is. Yes, as was said "the right hand is a beast", but that amazing left hand is trully outstanding too. Oh, if only I had 1/10th the skill in my entire left hand as he as in just the pinky of his I'd be happy. :) I've watched all of Don Ross's posted clips and in my opinion this is the best. Bravo!

Spend 30+ years working out with a guitar to cultivate supernatural right hand strength If caught in an avanche, use that hand to quickly crush every rock into fine powder, safe to eat ! Great source of calcium, and other minerals Thanx Don !!

@Maddolis Tony lost the tips of his fingers...I can't reach the fretboard now with one finger...I've spent almost 10 years now trying to find a comfortable way to play...I can do some stuff with open and alternate tunings, but it's never gonna be the same as it was...just something I have to deal with

@putzytheape shitload of practice with the metronome set at a fraction of original tempo. then practice some more...i'm not trying to be a smartass, but this kind of playing only comes with a ton of practice. also, try to take classical guitar lessons, a lot of people who cover music like this play with their right hand in whatever positions they find comfortable (myself included) but i do feel that traditional classic guitar playing techniques lead to clearer and faster fingerpicking.
