About the Stegos: me and some friends used Stegos with the gamma monkey, and it was relatively easy. They did have low health in the end, but they also had one melee mutation. They are definitely a worthy boss fighting creature, when you do some breeding and have good stats to begin with.

Something that I like about ark is the running sounds are different for each creature so you could be in your inventory or something and know if you need to worry about the creature trying to kill you

Super cool cave with the dead hikers and everything. I dropped down the waterfall with my dino and the boss won't spawn. You have to cryo your dino and drop down. Go past forcefield and uncryo dino
