Tthere is a store in the Old Town section of Albuquerque where people over 50 can sell their handcrafted items free of charge. I thought this was great so I contacted the store as I make Artisan Soaps. They said I was welcome to sell my soaps in the store but because 1{one} person complained that they do not like fragrance, all of the sellers were told to take every thing with a scent out of the store. Of course I did not want to sell there even if my soaps had no fragrance just because of the idea and the stupidity of allowing 1 person to dictate the store policy. And this is a big tourist area so that 1 person would probably never be back anyway. When did we become a country where 1 person can control everything?

It has always bugged us when people move to a rural area and than complain about wildlife or lifestock being to close to their homes. Living in Rural Texas for over 20 years we have experienced these people many times. However we got a little aggravated when these new people moved out in the area they had the power company install big type street lights that stayed on all night. Eventually enough these of lights went up and made star gazing become horrible. We preferred lights that are motion activated or that you can turn on and off by the homeowner.

Uncle Jon your videos are like a breath of fresh air. Everything you say makes total sense and I love that. We are living in a world where most people don’t make sense! Thank you from Vancouver Island , British Columbia where we have the same self entitled people who cause a lot of grief for everybody else 😀

Love this! I make soap but my full time job is dir of finance for a booming set of breweries. Everybody wants to complain about them disrupting a sleepy little town. They all forget the jobs, donations & gargantuate amount of taxes we pay to said sleepy town. I say…you should have purchased all the land for sale if you wanted to prevent it Karen. Go drink your prune juice & leave us alone! 2 places you can stay for free…in your lane & out my business.

You hit the nail on the head, how people spend their money is their business. You obviously come from an old school of thought, which if more people stayed in their own lane, they would realize more often they can be happier there. You're definitely a breath of fresh air in today's world.

I built in a new area many years ago and one of the local businesses was a mushroom farm.. quite whiffy occasionally, most of us didn't care.. but as the area grew.. more complaints.. they increased the size of the vent stack.. still complaints.. finally bought out and more houses built on the site.. My sister moved into a little town near the city, then it boomed.. they were happy to take advantage of the rural lifestyle.. but did not want any more development.. after them of course..

I agree here. As long as it's nothing hazardous or life threatening to society you do have the right to spend your money on what you want. I could see if someone is trying to build something on someone else's property trying to take over someone's lands to get whatever needs to be done. The owner has the right to choose how they spend there money and common sense you don't move somewhere you uncomfortable at in the first place. Unless you don't mind taking a risk. It's even worse when some people have a family to take care of as well. Some people just like complaining just to have something to say and not thinking first before they react. Have a bless day Uncle Jon and clear as day microphone set up! It reminds me of a radio station tuning in for today's special! Glad to see you again and I pray all is well with the family too. Stay safe and see you again on your next video.🙏🙏🙏👍😷👌💕💕💕

@@itzcloveynuh1207 it might also be how big a percentage of sunflower oil. I love sunflower oil but it's a soft oil and if used for the majority of oils makes a really soft soap. I think it's generally recommended to use under 20%of total oils.

It bugs me how people like this are so bothered by what others are doing with their own land, but they aren't bothered enough to _buy_ that land so they can keep it as the like. One thing people in a free society fail to understand is that in a free society people are allowed to make choices that you will not like. There are loads of things people do that I wish I could snap my fingers and Thanos away the problem, but I don't. It's not my place. 10 years ago the professional occupation buildings next to my development was planning to open a business for recovering drug addicts to get treatment and the replacement drugs they use to wean addicts off drugs. Would I rather not have possible drug addicts a few hundred feet from my house? Yeah, probably but when the petitions went around I refused to sign it because the type of business in that complex is _none of my business._ I'm not paying taxes on it, it's not *mine.*
