When I was about 11. My brother and I were visiting a friend. We were playing outside. Building a snowfort. It was about 6pm and dark. Suddenly there was a flash. Everything turned white and grass green for 2 seconds. Similar what this story mentioned. With a yellow ball. It happened twice and it was very scary. We didn’t say anything to each other. Very soon after we left home. Our dad was with us, he was similarly scared and we didn’t talk at all. Later on I read there were lots of ufo sightings in Finland early 1970-75, and other parts of Europe. Number of people claimed to see the aliens and getting abducted. Local government claimed it was power transformer that blew up at the power station. That was many kilometers or miles away.

It's so full of childlike sci-fi imaginings that I can't help but wonder if this adolescent kid was having a very realistic series of dreams; e.g. the silver skin tight space suit with gold belt with buckle sporting an insignia. The fact that he was sexually aroused suggests puberty where anything can set a kid off and the nonsensical "telepathically sent" message. If you've ever tried to make sense of written words in a dream, they often start like they're going to make sense and then become disjointed and almost like they should make sense, but they don't.
