I have 2 of those Uber boards. I love them. They’re not trying to be indestructible. They’re just supposed to be lighter and have the same feel and pop as a Canadian Maple deck. The Canadian Maple is denser than Chinese maple so it pops better but is heavier. Funny thing is the Uber deck weighs the same as a Chinese maple deck but it pops like a Canadian maple since the majority is actually Canadian maple with a foam core. It will last longer, is lighter and tougher than a regular Canadian maple deck but don’t expect it to be bulletproof.

If you have ever watched Rodney skate in person it’s hard to say there’s anyone better. He’s literally Mr.Consistency. No one has won more world championship skating competitions. Like 34 times in a row? On the 35th he just phoned it in and decided not to compete again? Maybe someone might have thought of his tricks (90% of what we use in skating today) however the way his mind works is so insane he advanced skateboarding by at least a decade or two by skating in his garage 😂 He’s such a genius he pushed Hard to get Daewon into the spotlight and said this is your new guy. Like it or not without Mullen we would have been in the dark ages of skateboarding for at least another 10 or 15 years. Many skaters we know today might not exist, the sport that transformed onto the streets could have died altogether. And worst of all we might have never even discovered Daewon Song, my second favorite skater of all time. Sorry Daewon but Rodney saved my soul, spirit, sanity by showing me how to have fun in a parking lot. So Daewon may be better now, but Mullen made the most impact on skateboarding as a whole. Love them both. Love all skaters. I’ve been skating my Uber deck for around 4 years now Btw. For old washed up skaters like myself, or casual skaters that board will last for years and years, never changing its pop or feel. Not even joking. Thanks for doing this video also, that board is great. It’s not unbreakable though. It’s only meant to keep its pop and shape for years. If you skate like Mullen, flat ground, technical street skating, that board will last you for a very very long time. Sorry for the super long message though I had to talk about my idol haha. Have a great skate day everyone 😊

they need a carbon top sheet and the bottom layer this will hold it all together just having the layer on the bottom is increasing force into the top layers with the pressure its working against the concave with downward force and probably caused it to brake fast with a top carbon layer this will bring back the equal load transfer into all layers
