Exactly!! This hateful and discriminatory way of thinking about afro hair really hurts young minds. It literally just leads to so much comparison and someone wishing their hair was 'easier' to manage or 'straighter' coz then it'd be 'more beautiful/classy'

Yeah, it can be cause so much negativity in someone's personal journey coz that comparison shifts focus away from growing & understanding their natural hair. Overall, it slows down their growth journey and affects their self-esteem too.
