Luckily in this patch I was able to get both zhezhi which I got her (after 60 or 70 pulls) and Carlotta ( which I got her by pure Chance as I did only one ten pull and I hit a double five star which is varina and Carlotta) this motivate me to get the last dance pistol so I 100% the entirety of renacita and even bought the monthly pass (which made me break free to play) to get the pistol and I got it after 70 pulls (Also I don't know what's my luck with characters but after five pulls zero pity I got another five star though I lost the 50/50 to encore but it doesn't matter because the next limited banner character comes I am guaranteed to get the character)

Even Zhezhi's color palette complimenting Carlotta really shows they were made with each other in mind. This tells me that we will get a better Jinhsi support who boosts all type/spectro dmg and skill dmg that does coordinated attacks.

Regardless of Zhezhi, ideally Jinhsi should get one. It wouldn't make sense for her to be the bis and different element (on the buff), unless her Outro was pure Skill dmg, but they would miss on selling more characters.

@@FlyingPancake0390 The point is, Zhezhi never made sense as the bis for the simple reason, Jinhsi is only getting half the buff, unless the Skill buff was busted like 40-45% (which by default falls within your point). Even if the sub dps is Spectro, they can make her properly stack Jinhsi if they want to, or have the Coordinate attacks come from a different support, etc. Depends on how many characters they want to sell to have her premium team.

@@vrika4280 Spectro is the only element that cannot stack Jinshi "properly". Her support either needs to be a different element or have something particular to their kit that overrides the 1 second limitation on Spectro dmg coordinated attacks in Jinhsi's kit. We'll see.

Carlotta > Zhezhi > Carlotta's weap. You can skip Carlotta S1, it takes the least priority. If you plan on pulling Jinhsi (zhezhi is the best support for her as well) then you can make do with the standard banner 5* weap.

I think she is meant to be treated like twin machine guns in pso2. As in she is a gun user meant to fight at close to mid range with gun-kata like martial arts rather than the aim and shoot style of heavy attack like all the other pistol users up to this point. And because of this she is def more suited for fast paced DPS

I would go for Zhezhi, and choose Static Mist when you get the selector at rank 45. If you get Zhezhi early, and still have pulls, maybe throw some 30-40 pulls into her sig. I know it is not confirmed, but I do believe new players get better pity, so you might get the weapon early as well.

If you already have a decent Moonlit set, I honestly don't see rush to farm the new one. The buff they give is almost the same, and you only have to proc Moonlit once. For Empyrean, although Zhezhi attacks every second, you could still miss a crit to proc it, so I imagine you would need Stringmaster to have more consistency, and/or use Crit Rate on the 4 cost echo. Empyrean's worth is getting more personal damage with Zhezhi, rather than buffing Carlotta. If you already have a well built Carlotta, and want to maximize Zhezhi's dmg, then go for it. I personally, would wait for more people to test the numbers, though.

Zezhi is her best support (also Jinsi’s) bc she gives resonance skill dmg & glacio dmg buffs (outro). Another f2p support would be Taoqi for her resonance skill dmg buff (outro). But her playstyle is a bit… slow? U need to parry or hold BA, but it takes 3s or being hit to proc, so if ur in a timed challenge, it counts. She needs energy recharge.(Also applies with Jinsi, Taoqi doesn’t have coordinated attacks). There’s also Lumi, which is better than Taoqi, but I don’t have her, idk if u do.

They are both pretty similar dmg wise however I don’t know the calcs so idk who’s stronger but they’re both in tier 0. Pull whoever you like more.

As mentioned in the earlier comment, both are pretty similar in terms of damage so pulling for whoever u like is the best choice. But if you are still confused, you can look at your supports and decide, for example if you don't have Zhezhi, the best support for Carlotta (and Jinhsi as well), you can go for Jinhsi who has other great alternatives (Yinlin, Yuanwu, Lumi). If you have Lumi, Carlotta can use her too. At the end, it all comes down to whose playstyle you prefer. Carlotta's playstyle provides more mobility, while Jinhsi has more AOE. both are similar in damage but here are the general difference (PS this doesnt list all difference just the big ones) Jinshi is safer to use (and by safer i mean you can grapple and stand above your enemy for the majority of her field time) but needs an off field ally to help with stacks, otherwise her damage tanks so bad or her rotations elongate to 30-40 sec instead of 12-15 sec, very good against multi wave content if you can keep her rotations up carlotta is single target oriented (her AOE is quite small its still there but small), her damage is a bit more spread out compared to jinshi's single nuke but her rotation is capped at 22 sec unless you want to sacrifice her self buff, she works well against bosses since you have less things to worry about both of these best teamate is Zhezhi LOL so yea their F2P option standard 5 star are quite good for them around 15% less than their sig both of these are main DPS characters so your goal is to give them 5 star dont bother with 4 start option although the new craftable works ok with carlotta (havent tested jinshi for it yet, not enough resources for me to make) both can be played in a quick swap sweatlord sporting a high skill cieling but quite low skill floor for casuals

Pull who you find more fun, they do similar damage. Teamwise, for sub dps they both like Zhezhi, if you learn her rotations, Taoqi can be a good f2p replacement. For Support, they also share f2p options, like Baizhi s6 (gives extra Glacio dmg, as does a bit of coordinated attacks), Yahoo can boost coordinated attacks, Yuanwu completely stacks Jihnsi, etc.

Half way mate, if built she could contribute personal damage like Changli, but from what I understand, her Outro buffs wouldn't do anything for Carlotta if her Liberation is considered Skill damage. For Hypercarry, ideally you want Zhezhi, if not Taoqi if you learn her rotations, and Lumi last. Outside of that, you could use an s6 Yangyang or Sanhua, but it would depend for what do you want it, and what other teams you have if it's for Tower, so you can mix and match.

Taoqi is a way bigger damage boost, and learning her rotations, she is even better than Lumi from what I've seen. Sanhua is easier to use, but would not buff Carlotta properly with the Outro. Sanhua's worth on dps that don't focus on basic attacks, is getting the rotations faster. She could be enough depending on the Tower buffs, though.

I don't know how new you are, but I'll give you a general overview of points: -Level your main dps (Carlotta) to 90, her weapon as well, use her signature or go for Static Mist (you can get it for free at rank 45). I would use Standard banner pulls on getting the Emerald of Genesis sword next if you are mostly f2p -Choose Verina from the 5 star selector, and Encore for the 30 pull one if you want a decent f2p dps (Be patient here, the echoes is the most finicky part) -Farm the new Frosty Resolve echo set. If your weapon has Crit Damage, then use a Crit Rate on her 4 cost echo Sentry Construct, and the other way around if your weapon has Crit Rate, then use a Crit Damage Sentry Construct, use Glacio-Glacio or Glacio-Atk for the 3 cost echoes, which ever you get better substats, and Atk for the 1 cost echoes -For the echo sub stats, ideally you want all the echoes to have both Crit. Rate and Crit. Damage when you tune them (if not try to at least get one of those sub stats per echo, it is normal you can't god roll all the stats being new to the game), then around 2-3 echoes have an energy regen substat so you can have her Liberation each rotation. Then you want the other substats to ideally be Atk related or Skill damage, but here don't worry that much imo atm if you are new. IMPORTANT: This setup will be basially the same for all main dps, just the Skill damage part would vary if for example the main damage from the character is Basic Attack like Camellya. Usually for a mid build you want to strive on getting 60-70% crit rate, and 230-250 crit damage. This is a good enough build imo, that is not that hard to get, and you can then min max as you like. -For the Talent tree, you want to prioritize unlocking the middle talents that give her extra abilities to her kit, then get to level 10 her Resonance Liberation first, then her Resonance Skill. These two are the most important, I usually level them side by side until level 8, and then prio to 10 the most important one. Now here Carlotta has Crit Rate on her passive talents, so after maxing at least her Resonance Liberation, I would focus on unlocking the Crit. Rate talents, and then you can slowly level up the rest, and some like the Intro Skill and Basic attacks, you can leave them at 0, so you don't waste resources at the beginning. This page has a good guide on how to build her, with the points I mentioned: www.prydwen.gg/wuthering-waves/characters/carlotta -Extra tip: Don't level up everyone, focus on maxing your main dps, so you don't waste resources, your sub dps and supports can stay at around lv. 40-50, so they don't die of one shot, and you don't need to level their weapons, nor talents, nor echoes, unless you are dying too much, level the ones give hp a bit, or even give them hp echoes on the mean time. Hope it helps, be patient once you get an idea of how Carlotta works, you will have an easier time with every other character, and you can use that link I sent as reference. Don't stress on having god roll stats to being with. If I can help with any other doubts, please feel free to ask.

This game studio doesn't care about mobile users. I waited to see what fixes they would work in this patch, but nope, waited in vain. In fact, it's more laggy than the last update, and forces you to go all the way down to Ultra Performance just to run it, which is just unacceptable.
