Every customer deserves a good working product and if it malfunctions the company needs to do a working replacement or refund. No matter what the product cost. It's about honesty and integrity. Thank you for posting as I will stay away from that company.

I'm sorry for all bad experiences. I assume there are no EU-markings either, thus illegal to sell in EU. Was it direct imported from China?

AliExpress actually..Learned my lesson😅 Just hope others learned them with me👍 but they actually got the markings needed..

@@JonasSyver Ok so you have two broken, so you might get 1 functioning out of the parts. The replacement unit with the short, I would open that up and trace the short, could be the inverter, could be the MPPT board. Figure out what has the short, then replace it with the part/board from the one original. Also be very careful, the capacitors can contain lethal voltage even with everything disconnected. I bet they grabbed a B-stock, or eval unit to send as a replacement. Good Luck!

@@JonasSyver Also you say the first unit reads low voltage on your battery. Did you verify with a meter the voltage of your battery as you power this unit up. Not the open circuit voltage of the battery, but the voltage while it's hooked up, and this thing is booting.

Yes. Even tried with different lithium batteries and agm. Bms and multimeter reads a completely different voltage than the unit.
