Great advice for those who feel they don't engage with their phones enough and are not overly preoccupied with practicing their instrument.

I tried this app, it's a great and versatile app. My problem was: everytimes I got a whatsapp message the click was mutet shortly and then I switched my wifi off and after the 2nd movement of moonlight sonata my battery runs low. But I will try it tomorrow again. You can do so many things with this app, it takes a time to find out 🙂 Thanx for the advice

Please drop a link for the pulse metronome. I can't find it on the playstore. Maybe regional issue.
@KilifiSamuelu2 ай бұрын
is it on play store? cuz there is nothing popping up when i searched it😢

I thought it was, but I just checked and looks like it's gone. They have ProMetronome, which I've always used too, but they lately made some changes to it that I don't love. I haven't tried anything other app lately, so can't give a good rec, but no harm in trying some out. Let me know if you find a favorite!

Hi I have just watched your video. You have obviously done a great amount of research. However, I couldn't it in Google Play on my Samsung. Has the name changed? TIA
@PianoRoadmap Жыл бұрын
Hmmm, the name hasn't changed. I'm not an android person, but when I made the video, I thought it was available on all platforms. 🤔I'd go with the Pro Metronome which is available for Android. Bummer that Pulse isn't available for Samsung users, but I think you'll find Pro Metronome is quite nice as well.

You could have added a link to the app. When I found it its not even supported, something noteworthy in you're review?

I just want one that I can start slow, practice my scales at that tempo. Then go up one bpm and practice at that tempo, then go up one more bpm, etc. This sounds like it will do that in your review. But does it? That is the most important feature for me. I downloaded the asparion app and am having trouble figuring out it's functions. It will go up one bpm every bar, and I don't want that.
@PianoRoadmap3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Are you talking about wanting to program your metronome to automatically increase by 1 bpm every set number of measures (every 8 measures, for example), WIHTOUT having to touch it?
@soupbonep3 жыл бұрын
@@PianoRoadmap No, I don't want it to increase automatically. I want to increase it manually by one and have it stay on that tempo until I want to increase it again. In the aspirion app you have to go up one and then go back to zero for it to stay. That isn't a big deal, but a little bit of a pain.
@PianoRoadmap3 жыл бұрын
@@soupbonep I'm not familiar with the aspirion app, but that does sound strange. With the Pulse, it will stay on whatever tempo you set it at. Same with Pro Metronome, if you'd like to try out another free option.

I really don't understand why a metronome app needs access to my email (I do really but I just wish there was a decent one that didn't want to scam me out of all my data.) edit - that might have sounded a bit snarky towards the video creator; it wasn't meant to - subbed and greedily working my way through the already uploaded videos.

There was no offense taken! Yeah, I hear you. Your other option is to go old school and buy one that takes batteries :)

I'd suggest the Pro Metronome. I believe that's available for both iOS and Android.

Simple Metronome which is only on Google play store is very simple and easy to use with all basic functions.
@jeffglawe3590 Жыл бұрын
I'd suggest trying out Tempo Light which is available on both iOS and Android. It has every feature you could want, and the Light version is Free. The Timer modes are great for keeping track of your practice throughout the day, or working on an exercsie for a set time. Something most metronomes don't seem to have, at least on Free version.
