I'm in a pretty secure Condo Building in Business Park. Bought a Hotel Safe on Lazada for just over $50usd Delivered. Drilled a Couple of holes & bolted it down. Gives me somewhere to lock stuff up. BUT: I told the Owner up front what I was going to do & worked out where to put it.

It's not money that is the root of all evil, it's the LOVE of money. We all need money to spend, save and depend on. But the LOVE of money is what hurts our society. Most Americans would sell out their Grandma for a buck. Been retired in Cebu City for 5 years now. Been married to a Filipina for 16. In and out of the Philippines since 2007. For a retired guy, slow pace of life, friendly/respectful/caring people, travel is great, low cost of living and Filipinas are so easy on the eyes.

I've never been to the philippines. Looking for To visiting. I imagine the philippines has one thing in common with the united states. I lived in new york, in seattle washington, In dallas texas. I've also lived in several small towns. In Texas and and ohio. The difference between the people in small towns and large cities is stark. In the u s for the most part I found no sense of community in any of the large cities I lived in. In the small towns, completely different atmosphere.A strong sense of community .People were friendly and helpful and almost no crime. I'm thinking maybe the philippines has this in common. Please. Let me know what you think.

Yes the rural areas are very friendly but the people in the city have been super nice to, the capital in Manila well I would say it’s not my favorite! I would say check out the provincial area and central areas of the Philippines. Just my opinion though! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I lived in cebu for 7 years, and visiting with my filipino friends for 30 years. Not all people are friendly, you are a walking atm machine. Many are friendly for one reason, to ask u for a loan or see what they can get from you. So many filipino friends have asked me for a loan, or to buy them something. Many are rude, cut in line, give u ugly looks etc,,,,You are just a foreigner who wants sex with young girls, that is what they really think. The vloggers here just post how everyone is nice, total liars,,,,The healthcare is the worst, so goodluck

@treyparker3422 We live in Cavite. Me & my asawa we visit the provinces such as Tacloban, Bacolod, Davao and they're nice for 3-4 days. However the provinces lack the cultural enrichment as you would find in Makati, Nuvali or Tagaytay. I'll take the new expressways as CALAX, Okada, Ayala Manila Bay, LRT, BGC, Twin Lakes with the cool breezes from Taal.

This guy living in freaking La La Land. Here in the Manila area in Metro Manila you’re going to likely find that people here don’t like foreigners and people here are very guarded and not welcoming. Filipino people here in the Manila area are very cold so wherever the freak this guy is living at, it’s definitely not the Philippines.
