Excellent video Andy. It brought back many memories. I hated to see that first bridge was gone. I like the fact you didn't make any video of your exit. Just snap your finger and you were at the end. 👍

Crazy how far that bridge moved! I haven’t been since the closure. Another adventure is to come in from back. There’s a trailhead over by Yonah Damn out of Toccoa. I did that a few years ago and posted a video. Definitely not as used but was a decent trail.

Haven't been there in a couple of years need to go back! I guess they recently opened it back up. Last time me and Rachel went the very next day someone went down there and died of dehydration so that trail ain't no joke especially on a hot summer day so many people attempt that hike without any water or proper equipment it's scary honestly watching how many people are okay with walking down there with no supplies.

Yea, I think there is also a Panther Creek falls somewhere in the Cohutta Wilderness. I think those are the ones I almost went over the edge of the top of. Was a real close call, I was on the top and slipped, slid right to the edge and was able to get a foot on a small rock right on the edge to stop me from sliding right over, think it scared my hiking partner more than it did me, happened so fast. Having such quick access N Georgia mountains is about the only thing I miss about living in Atlanta!
@MetroOnTheMove2 жыл бұрын
It is a blessing to have so many places to go only an hour away. Heard of the one in the Cohutta. My father in law has been there but have not seen it yet.
