i also highly recommend going into the subreddit, because just last night i found a story about him repeating this pattern of behavior just a year prior to tana’s case. obviously this is alleged, but there’s an early vine of his called “dayummit” featuring a young girl who allegedly just graduated high school a few months prior and was freshly 18. they apparently had been dating for a little while before this video released.. so my question is why cody was hanging out with high schoolers at the age of 24? seems like a pattern, plus would explain his audacity to do the same thing to tana just a year later (again, all alleged, but check for yourself)

@gingermcmahon3479 yeah I’ve been scrolling through there for the past few days and there’s some very interesting stuff in there. I’m still waiting to see if we hear anything from Cody but if not maybe there’s enough to pull together another video

All I can see in the comment sections of his recent videos is his fans holding him accountable and begging him to take responsibility, or even comparing him to 'creeps' that have featured in his videos before. I haven't seen any of Tana's videos yet but I find Cody's fanbase response (that I've seen so far) quite refreshing honestly

@sweetpea7209 yeah once Cody gave up on comment censorship it’s definitely been better, I just know from what Tana has said that she’s been harassed a bit over this and that’s not ok

it's like a reverse idubbbz situation, where he's cultivated an audience who would care about this. honestly knowing his own history I wonder what tf he expected would happen

His fans have attacked Tana repeatedly and in really gross ways. More specifically, his male fans.

@lyra2282 sorry, should have worded it clearer. I should say quite a bit, and you’re right that most of it is rooted in misogyny. I hope I at least got that across in the video

as someone whos a fan of prince who met his ex wife when she was 16-17 and he was 30 something 🤢 I totally understand being upset and in denial but i think thats something to keep to yourself. i hate how so many people attack Tana because of this and how many people were attacking me on reddit when i would say how in the wrong he is, i thought this video was amazing

I was pretty disappointed when I found out what Cody Ko did and was like thats weird, I told my GF and she was like oh how old was the girl like 16? I said, nah 17 and she replied isn't that legal though? I said no It's 18 in USA. She's like oh thats not even bad and continues to watch his videos. It's just a weird line how depending where you are this is completely fine also or your own perspectives.

@quaweds yeah like I said, personally I’m not ok with it but if you’re fine with it and you aren’t out here trying to convince everyone else to ignore Tana then fine, I can’t change your mind and that’s ok. I made this video because there are people who ARE actively trying to discredit Tana simply so they can make themselves feel better about watching and that’s not cool
