I started taking 3 capsules of Sea Buckthorn oil ( Omega 7 ) twice a day eight months ago. When I got my bloodwork done my HDL rose five points. My triglycerides dropped 16 points, my total cholesterol dropped 29 points, my LDL dropped 31 points. My liver enzymes went from AST 164 down to 18 and ALT from 113 to 22. My Dr was blaming my Keto diet and tried to put me on a plant based diet but I refused. I decided to do my own research on fats. I still drink two bulletproof coffees every morning with 3T of salted whipped butter and 2T of organic heavy whipping cream in each. I have never heard anyone talk about this, bravo. I just intutively started testing out macadamia nut oil in my coffee because I do better with monounsaturated fats. It is incredibly important to know how well you process saturated fats. I have been low carb/keto for 5 + years and my lipids are high, as are many low carbers. about 6 months ago I decided to try the Carnicore diet, 6 weeks into it my cholesterol went from 320 to 850 and most of my inflamation markers were extremelyy high, and it caused a stroke. luckily it was mild but it took me 6 months of blood thinners and statins and a mainly plant based diet & salmon to get things back to normal. I also did some DNA testing whichj indicated I should limit saturated fat. So check your status everyone this is really im[portant stuff.

Because of my roommates always using all of my different sources of fats I kept running into issues of waking up in the morning only having coconut oil or carry gold or avocado oil for my morning coffee. When the specific roommate finally moved out and stopped using all of my oil I went back to daily coconut and Kerry gold and I wasn't having the good effects after 2 months of just using those two. So it's great to see a video like this that connects to something I've already done, because of the roommate, noticing the different effects and making sure to change up the style of oil that is used. When I first started doing the buttered coffee it was one of the first things to get me out of energy drinks and a low-grade brain fog that I probably had most of my life. It was one of the first things that really helped me understand how being metabolically flexible can really improve overall body health and got me out of a low-grade chronic illness. Agree. Stick with black coffee and, as you say, "eat" your fats that come with tasty food. One thing Thomas has really helped me with is realizing that Keto (or low carb) doesn't mean go all-out with any and all fats; they are just so caloric and the body fat will never come off if you keep eating a lot of fatty things. I've cut back on fats a lot and increased the protein.

I drank a lot of white pine needle tea after getting over the franken-flu a couple years ago and it felt very healthy to me. Pine needles are where turpentine comes from so it makes sense that the pine tree has some very good antimicrobial properties. I'll try taking some pine nut oil and see how it feels. I believe most diseases, including cancer, are caused by microbial parasites (yeast, fungus, bacteria, virus, mold) and it helps to keep our insides clean. Should we just do 1 fat for the ENTIRE week or can we do 1 fat every day in any order till we get 6 out of the 7 days of the week. I gave up coffee for Lent. Literally. Actually, I'm reintroducing it on the first day of spring. I stopped to see if there were any dramatic effects. So far none. The reintroduction of coffee is where I'll notice a difference. If none, coffee away! If so, I will be done with it. Thanks for not adding "Canola" to your coffee. Jk. Great vid, Brother. ⏳🔥🥩🔥💪😁👍🔥🥓🍳🦐🔥⏳

They have taken "Bullet proof" coffee and made it something totally different than simply black coffee with a spoon of MCT oil in it. Bullet proof MCT oil. WHAT HAPPENED?! Its taken on the life of some kind of exotic latte type drink.

What blender do you recommend for whipping the ghee butter with your hot coffee because I’ve tried various plastic blenders and then the plastic cracks (which I kind of figured it would ) but I was just looking for like a simple blender to use that works really well that won’t crack due to the heat of the coffee and the ghee butter and whipping it

I'm on my 3rd NutriBullet, but I've been thinking about trying one of those immersion hand blenders, myself.

Caffeine is beginning to be like salt -- caffeine is a food additive in many things where you would not expect it. I am trying to cut way back on caffeine.

So would the rate of ingestion be a factor with the slower uptake casein proteins? Typically I will have a cup of coffee in the morning and then fill up a travel mug that I sip throughout the day. Typically takes me about a half a day to drink the whole thing. I would theorize that you would not get bombarded with all of those fats at once if you ingest it more slowly

1/2 Tblsp ghee 1/2 Tblsp mct oil and a scant Tblsp of whipping cream…. This is the combo that makes me feel the best.

Hi, really need your help. My cholesterol is 250 and the doctor puts on meds. Can I use bulletproof to loose wait? Will it be ok with my high cholesterol? Thank you
@nimishaj78 ай бұрын
Hey well am not a doctor, but these all is considered as good fat leading to increase HDL and ultimately lowers LDL(bad cholesterol) I had high cholesterol 254. Triglycerides 600. I used walnuts or any nuts, avocado, sesame seeds/pumpkin seeds/sunflower seeds, ghee/olive oil or sesame oil And my Triglycerides went down to 203 from 600. Total cholesterol is 154 now. So choose good fat. 40 mins of cardio and clean eating will give you good result. All the best.

You mentioned so many fats and oils. But I did not hear coconut oil? I think your video clip showed coconut milk or cream. Just curious if it was intentional to leave out the coconut oil! Love ❤️ your program!

could you mix the fats each week? Like coconut and butter one week. Ghee and macadamia the next? keep the total amount of fat the same.

Will adding cayenne and cinnamon to a bullet proof coffee alter the positives of the fats? Also can you eat a breakfast (2 egg muffins or a yogurt with 1/2 C berries with flax seed) along with your bullet proof coffee?

I prefer MCT oil from coconuts in my coffee because it doesn't change the flavor of coffee but this gives me an idea for making keto desserts like making chocolate fudge with grass fed ghee or macadamia nut oil.
