Great vid, really enjoying this channel. I would love it if you guys added a west coast guy to the roster! We are terribly under represented out here and have unique reservoirs that fish way different than the rest of the country

Follow Greg Blanchard if you aren't already. I enjoy watching him fish and I learned about fishing natural lakes and ponds from him. Frog, jig, a rig/spinnerbait and drop shot catch him tons of kayak bass in California and across the country

Yeah, GB is very entertaining but he is norcal. All we have here in SoCal are locals who aren't producing high quality videos, or maybe they just don't want to share Intel.

The PNW is different than California, north of the Columbia especially. I would love to see Luke Clausen or Brandon Palaniuk added to your group.

Let me start with... I love the channel. The prospective of the different zones in the US as well different angler inputs. Like Matt I live way up north but do get around. Last month I was in VA for the weekend and the warmer water was nice. I can keep up with what's working in the different parts of our country.

Really nice video. I need to follow these tips. Question, do you ever experience when the water temp drops pretty quickly and the bite almost completely shuts down? Any tips on that scenario? Maybe a video on it?
@JS-oy6nn2 жыл бұрын
I’ve been getting a taste of that “shutdown” here in Wv. Water was around 70 then we had several nights of high 20’s and the fish completely stopped biting. It’s warming up a bit this past week and I’m hoping they’ll be biting tomorrow 10/24

@@JS-oy6nn Man, I'm trying everything and everywhere...grass, rock, wood, ledges, flats, channel turns, contour lines and got skunked the other day for the first time this year. I hate it when the fish don't "speak" at all.

Creek ditches are really overlooked on highland reservoirs! Jigs and wacky rigged weightless stick worms with really boat some quality bass when the shad are migrating!

hey BFD, I'm looking for a video Jonny made about jig bite detection but can't seem to find it, could you post a link if you know which video it is? thanks!

What we don't see alot about us a break down of jig cadence . I think that would be a good video. As well as slack line jig fishing vs tight line jig fishing.

Goodness I wish I could catch Bass on bottom contact jigs. I have caught hundreds of bladed jigs and swim jigs. The places I fish, have never caught a thing in round, casting, flipping or football jigs. It's depressing. And I have well over $1,000 in jigs as well are Megabass, G. Loomis rods and Dawia and Shimano reels. I've landed thousands of bass on all sorts of lures. Never once have I caught one on a bottom contact jig. And I watch all the videos all the tips and tricks, bought it all tried it all. Grabbed only jig rods and went out for 4 to 6 hours at a time and never one single fish. So jigs are just not my thing as far as bottom contact goes
