Guys please mind that at 2:39 the sauce she pour in isn't soy sauce, it's called fermented soy bean paste. In Korea it is called as doenjang, and in Japan it is miso. But actually the Korean, Japan, and Chinese fermented soy bean paste have different taste and are used in various ways. I'm not saying that they are the same thing but the thing is that they are all fermented soy bean. The reason why they have different taste I guess is they may use different ingredients or methods to ferment the soy beans. Just like cheese, every kind of cheese taste differently right same goes to fermented soy bean paste. And for Chinese soy bean paste there are also have different kinds. So if you cannot find Chinese fermented soy bean paste, you may as well substitute it with Korean or Japanese one. I'm not an expert in cooking but I just want to help those who are confused :)

Actually it's not how you see them crispy sometimes, this is a special recipe. Most fried, crispy tofu is due to tossing the tofu in seasoned cornstarch before frying.

亲自试验了,味道很好。我买的是软豆腐也可以做,就是挂鸡蛋液的能力不太好,炒出来不是各个金黄包着蛋液。没用五花肉,不好买,改成肉末也可以,大概50g。放完水淀粉后,加入一个切成丁的红灯笼椒,一起摇匀盖上盖子等一分钟。豆腐入味软软的,红椒还是脆的。

Here in Philippines, just fry the tofu and make sauce using vinegar, onion, sugar and sili, make sure you know the tamang timpla.👌👌👌😋. We're crazy in love with it

一碗水淀粉 is not "water starch" (Chinglish) but "one bowl of water blended with cornstarch" which is a common thickener in Chinese cooking.

She added a bowl of "water starch" at end till it becomes sticky. But did she tell us earlier how to prepare the watch starch? I assume corn starch and water, but how much? Or does Asian cooking use another kind of starch? And do I have to set the tofu in water if it already comes out of the package in water,? I'd really like to make this, but this time she didn't put recipe in description box.

Usually potato starch. Corn starch is better for deep fry.

I cannot answer those questions, but here is one mistake I made when I first tried using starch water. Do not mix the starch with hot water. It's heat that coagulates the starch and you don't want that to happen until it's mixed into the dish.
