Agreed. Easy high-speed money is TOO tempting for traders of paper. Not cutting the rate in January will be the same as raising the rate, IMO. I believe that silver will flounder until March, after the inauguration dust settles, and commercial real estate foreclosures hit the mainstream news cycles. I don't think that silver's bottom will be any lower than $24, but $25.50 if plausible. Love the Perth dragons. My 2000 kilo dragon is a deep stacker, for sure. Just TOO gorgeous to let go of. TY for another concise and thoughtful video.

Royal Mint just did a dragon, the Tudor beasts series and looks great.

Tudor beasts is cool. Will they stop at 12? Or will they repeat?
@michaelmohrle177311 күн бұрын
@anecdotalecon I think it's 10, Lion, Yale, Bull, Unicorn, Dragon, so far. The Queen's panther has just been released in the UK but I don't see it in the US yet.
@BogusDudeGW11 күн бұрын
I've been collecting the Tudor Beasts, they are of course 2oz coins so a little money to be saved on premiums there. I believe the Panther was first released as a proof only so nice to see that released, will be grabbing it this weekend. I've also been dropping on good deals for 1/4oz gold Tudor Beasts coins too. The Dragon is a bit different although Perth mint have also just released a set of 5 colourised lunar dragons, supposedly to celebrate their 125 yr anniversary

@@BogusDudeGW I like the BU 10 oz. They are not much over spot price and are works of art. The proof version are way overpriced bit I like the BUs better anyway. You get a fantastic collectable at bullion price.

I have quite a bit of silver. I have had this silver for a long time. I have no crystal ball. I am convinced that no one knows where silver is going next year. The GSR is really high right now so silver is not over priced. But, silver can take things to the extremes any time. Silver can go either way very quickly. Silver has disappointed me over all for the last 13 years. But, it can rise when conditions are just right. Things don't feel right for silver. The best thing to do is to ignore silver. Don't worry about it. Its out of our control. I have a target price of 40 dollars per oz. If silver reaches this price I sell. If not I just go about my business. Like I said, we have no control over silver. Gold is a much better buy and hold. Silver is better to be avoided if you don't already own it.

Wait, you have held it enough to be disappointed by it for 13 years, and your sell point is at $40? That seems low considering it hasn't been too far from that this year, and that it was over that in the last 13-14 years when it was close to $50.

@@Run4Ever77 I have been patient with silver. I said in the comment that I have been disappointed with silver. Its time to move on.

Supposedly, keeping your stuff dehumidified can prevent a lot of the tarnish. Also, storing in anything pvc will discolor stuff.

Good points. I’ve been stacking also for about 8 years mainly just rounds ASE, maples and whatever coin was on sale and 10 ounce bars too… In the back of my mind I’m kind of saving for retirement but also for any emergency and like you, I would never cash fully out but sometimes I wonder about when to cash in maybe 10 ounces here or 20 ounces there and actually which silver would I cash out? Would it be the coins or the rounds or the bars what are your thoughts on what you would do?

@@anecdotalecon It follows a 12 year cycle having one animal sign per year. Then they attach an element to each year I believe. So ever 12 years they cycle back to the same year and element that you were born in.
