I have Peter Fjellstetht's Bible explanation, and now there is the NT of PF explanation in English in a new printing in English, PF was from the middle of the 18th century. I have heard more and more to my amazement that Tim conway has EXACTLY the same interpretation on things as PF. His lexicon has explanations after the verses and talks about the meaning. PF helped me out of many group struggles after I left the charismatic movement. So it's a joy to hear Tim Conway.

Great sermon, thank you. I lived in the pig pen for almost 40 years. The few times I was exposed to the gospel, I simply did not understand it because my pride and rebellion was too big. I had to fast ten times (once 21 days) in order to humble myself to get to the point of seeking the Gospel. Praise God, I finally was able to hear the tremendous Pearls of Truth!

@@Superman111181 i share a lot on my KZbin channel but need to make more videos to explain. I fasted because I knew it was a spiritual path but did not know what I would find as I was still held the New Age belief of some kind of yogic expansion or ascension. Now I see that is all man made Pride talk(aka Satan who is the antiChrist, anti truth). The only truth can be through salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything else is corruption or distortion of absolute truth which is only possible through Jesus (Iesu). One must realize this is a fallen world. I had to also realize that the earth is flat. Then all of the other man made lies were exposed.

My goodness I'm broken - Every time man tries to make the Gospel more palatable, more joyful, more anything we think it needs, we DIMINISH IT. That is what we do in our own wisdom. When we trust God's plan and God's Word, the Gospel is beautiful and glorious and worth giving up everything for. We cannot pursue men in our wisdom, we must pursue God and His wisdom, and he will show us who to pursue, we will then "keep in step with the Spirit" which me and most Christians I know struggle so much to do.

I remember witnessing to a neighbor who had just survived a heart attack and was in recovery at the hospital. This man was well known for his life of fornication and womanizing. I remember looking right in his eyes when he responded to the gospel rejecting God's salvation. He smiled and said he was in total peace knowing when he dies he will be gone and there is no afterlife. So he was happy he got to live it up with the drugs and the sex while he could. I remember a distinct chill of terror come over me for this man that he had crossed that line and had been seared as with a hot iron and his will was sealed.

Man, I shed a few tears listening to this sermon. I had an experience recently where I had sensed that the person that I was attempting to communicate the gospel to had a hardened heart. Exactly these verses came to my mind as it dawned on me that perhaps I wasn't supposed to be wasting my time trying to convince the man of the error of his ways. I have experienced situations where discussing God, Jesus, and sin seemed to go quite well and the other person seemed to be receptive and understand it. I have experienced situations, though, where it seemed quite hopeless and, as mentioned, it felt like maybe I was wasting my time. I had been, in those moments, surprised realizing that it could be a waste of time to tell someone about the most important thing in life. I had read and knew of those verses and they came to mind. I didn't understand those verses when I first read them, but, solemnly, now, I think I understand the meaning. Even up to the part where the animal would turn on you and attack you directly instead of addressing the Word that you're desperately trying to convey to him or her. Yeah, an eye-opening experience for me.

My brother if people don't listen then stop talking. Also remember that we are tasked with loving people and planting seeds. Only God makes it grow. Trust God and trust that his word won't return void. Its not your job to convince the world to repent. Share the Gospel but more importantly live it, when you live your faith you are the light of the world. A picture is worth a thousand words. God bless you.

Brother, first off praise our Lord Jesus that He has raised you up with a heart for the condemned. We are absolutely called to be workers in the fields, proclaiming the gospel that souls may repent and believe in Jesus! Just wanted encourage you that your work in speaking to the errors of the way of that man is actually biblical and in the long-run, loving and obedient to our God. Though we are under grace and not law (therefore we are saved through faith alone in Christ alone, through grace alone), I do believe this same biblical principle applies today for the great commission. Ezekiel 33:7-9 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 8 When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for[a] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.” I hope this encourages you, and keep doing what you’re doing by the grace of God and through His Spirit! Bless you brother.

O My I am moved by this teaching and it opened my eyes to the precious gift Pearls of the gospel. I really needed this right at this time. I recently lost my sister 78 unexpectedly and it gave me an opportunity to share the gospel of Christ with family members in great need. My sister and I got ourselves to church and then much later I got saved. God drew me and by myself not in church but reading the Bible with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. None of her children are saved and one of mine is not. I have come to a place with hers that has left me feeling like it must be my approach is off but I believe this message cleared it up for me. I will try one more thing and if that gets rebuffed I think I must shake the dust from my feet. Now my own daughter laughed and said that's not going to happen so that is a clear rejection and I am aware of other factors but I had to try. I will continue to pray for perishing souls and it may not be my messaging that helps but GOD saves. I just pray for fertile soil and the the message not wither on the rocky soil but it is GOD's hands and He alone knows who may Repent and fall on their knees begging for salvation. Thanks Tim your directness and unapologetic truth is so refreshing and clear GOD Bless you Brother. I am weary of these multiple choice preachers giving you options of what to believe so they don't offend anyone....I left organized church at 70 just couldn't take the wishy washy lukewarm Christianity any more!

In regard to judgement Christians are taught not to harshly judge our brothers in Christ, but rather to restore, in mercy and forgiveness, one that falls into sin (Gal 6:1), which is the message in 1 Cor 5:1 with the man who has his father's wife. To be sure you are not living in sin and guilty of the same behaviors so that you may be a witness that such sins can be overcome in Christ. Which is the message in Matt. 7:4. God separates us, believers (brothers, family), from pagans and non-believers (Rom 2:1-5, 1 Cor 6:3) We are not taught not to judge the Godless world, pagans, or unrepentant sinners who are not our family and remain under the wrath of God, the very fact that we cling to truth and do not do as they do is us judging them, that their ways are evil. Quite the contrary, we are commanded to discern and judge what is of God and what is not (John 7:24, 1 Cor 6:3), to reject the one and learn to live and to teach all who are willing (and many are not), to live the other.

Nabeel Qureshi. I get this sermon. And I know I have to apply this. But we don't always recognize if a person is a pig or dog. Sometimes people want to know but don't behave that way. Nabeel Qureshi debated David Wood for 3 years and got saved. And David Wood himself was in competition with Randy his cell mate. But got saved preparing himself for the next debate with Randy so he can prove Randy wrong about Jesus. And Paul said he and the other disciples casted down every argument brought against God. I think we would be too quick to kick the dirt off our feet.

Truth here thanks. I nevertheless wonder if that's mean that I should stop praying for my parents and loved ones that have clearly been dogs in front of me and my preaching. I know that keep preaching is surely not the thing to do, but something in me lead me to think that in this situation there is still hope by praying for them and that this is actually the only thing I can do. And I'm ready to importune God with that, but in the same time I don't want to loose my time for them if in reality God is "done" with them. I tend to think that this passage does not concern praying but the question raised up anyway: if God don't want us to bring them his Gospel anymore, why would he want us to continue to do anything for their salvation? O Lord need your wisdom.. show me it please.
