Well I think it depends on the child. Take me for example I really struggled a lot during online learning and wanted to get back into a physical classroom as fast as possible. But my friend found Online Learning so much better than learning in a Physical Classroom. I honestly think education should be focused on the individual child rather than in blocks of 30, though I do understand that will be a real challenge in the United States where I live, many schools mould the current system and curriculum to fit the kids preferences and needs. Especially in the later years of Secondary School. Though I mean no disrespect to your comment since it is clear that Online Learning suits you better and that is your preference but I'm just not the same case as you.

i miss school so much and miss seeing my friends, but at the same time.. we have social media, facetime and so many other ways of communication now than there was in other pandemics. adults just don’t understand the newer generations and that’s why i still have hope for gen z’s kids since we are more understanding and will teach our kids the things we went through and teach them to not be racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. and over online learning i really learnt that i cant learn that way i have failed this whole year but i don’t even feel guilty about it because everything that was taught, it was all useless information for the career path i’m forming myself to go down.

I have mixed opinions about going back to school. Online classes were barely effective, and I'm a senior and have really important exams this year. At school, I'm definitely able to understand better and ask doubts better. But, our school barely follows social distancing at all, despite us complaining a million times. They've got so many rules where rules aren't needed, and none where they are. They have too many students, and just opened for grades 9 and above, but that itself is so much. People crowd around in corridors, in bathrooms, and the classrooms are not sanitized well. So yeah I really don't know how to feel about this.

When I was at home my grades were exactly double as good as when I am in school because I have the whole day to learn the whole day to do homework not just the 4 hours after school before you go too sleep and wake up in the morning to go to school. I got better grades when I was at home because I had more time and no stress. Stress comes because you don't have to much time and you have to do many things at once.

You know that never really happens lol you don't effectively sit there for 8 hours like mummies without any break, in the morning before lesson started we used to socialise, in between classes, we also had 45 minutes break and after school we used to go out. For introverted kids schools are really helpful for socialization, overcoming social anxiety and so on.

Bro school felt like prison with (and after) COVID. When online only the teacher could talk. When in class, same thing. You can’t talk, you listen and you answer. Often you don’t even question. You’re a number made by numbers and if your number is low, you’re low. I’ve had a few outside classes and boy do I remember them, both the argument and those days. Those days hit different but many don’t even have a chance to experience them.
