Ive also had suicidal aviations because of the school system and the damn hard classes that teach useless stuff- the hardest class in my school with the most homework? Woodworking. Learning how to cut wood with power tools. As an artist (one of the only ones in my class) i would MUCH rather carve wood than learn how to sand it down. Horrible.

In studies teenagers are most healthy if they go to sleep between 10-11 and wake up between 8-10 but what does school force me to do wake up at 545 then go sit in a chair for 8 hours which can cause so many health issues and I hate going I don't feel like I'm learning much of anything and it all seem like a waste but it's forced. doritos91381 none fuck out here with that bullshit if you said the kid fault blame it in the fucking parent remember whom action fault was it that kid do all this kind of stuff is was the parent fault who give birth to the child and can’t raise the child 🤦‍♂️ thinking you so smart and okay if you know what happening change it instead of saying shit on KZbin whom nobody gonna listen to anyone except on crackhead who don’t see the bigger picture,and also you say go study when most of the kid nowadays actually using technology remember once an idea is horned there no way you can stop it so if you mad you can go suck 🌚🍆🍆 before you come to your sense.
@khono2349
@khono2349 4 жыл бұрын
doritos91381 none so now it's the phones fault and not the parents fault? Who brought the phone for the child? A child can't have enough money to buy him/her self a phone now can they? All the things you mentioned are due to bad parenting and how complacent parents are towards their children. There's always a place and time where you could go and buy this shit for your child and when the time is right you give it to them but instead what happens? Parents get complacent, they give just about anything to their child and by the time they look back to their actions the damage has already been done. So don't blame technolegy, the internet which helped just about everyone to have global communication, to hear out global news and learn about the happenings in the world and instead suffer on the fact that the causes for unwanted knowledge to be in a child is due to bad parenting.
@gigachad9826
@gigachad9826 4 жыл бұрын
@doritos91381 none You are nor smart either! Sir/Lady, when a kid hears something in the school that he/she does not know about than that's when he/she goes to Google and search "nudes" or "porn", it is called curiousity and that is normal to my knowledge and when they hear "masturbation" they will try it because on their mind they do not know anything about sex that is why they start masturbaiting or read about it a lot! There are kids who mature at a much younger age and start masturbaiting because our hormons do stuff! If a 5 year old knows about bloodshed, rape and other bad stuff teach them to stop thinking about these words and take away their phone ( I do not know if someone should give a phone to 5 year old. probably not ). It is not the phones fault, why you ask. Because YOU are the one who bought them a phone where they can reach these information, if you want to buy them a phone at this age at least do not let them play on them for hours, 1 hour should be alright a day! There is not a single page on any social websites ( KZbin, Facebook, Twitter etc. ) if there would be any propagand than they would delete it because it is illegal to have propagand on social networks. Back to the phone, it is not a good idea to study on the phone, because it is unreliable! And who doesnt respect their parents? Get back to work by the way and stop tilting people

The true value of school is that it teaches you to learn, it teaches you to work, it teaches you how to do fundamental things even if they aren’t exact. Most people don’t need algebra, but algebra teaches you how to use logic.

I'm in middle school right now, and I told my mom today, "I'm tired of learning useless knowledge that I will probably forget and not need. I'm tired of going to school, sleep deprived, and not having enough time to eat or sleep. I'm tired of not being able to socialize and make new friends and may make a lifelong bond. I'm tired of school intruding into my home life with homework! I'M tired of not being able to participate in any of my hobbies! I'm tired of being too sleep deprived to do my homework and getting so stressed because I forgot to charge a school laptop and risking getting detention! I'm tired of not being able to have no control if the teacher is explaing a topic to me that I don't understand it and ask them to try to explain it into a way I understand and them saying NO! I'm tired of not being able to ask to go to the restroom a basic human function! I'm tired of not being able to have my own voice and say what the teacher wants to hear! I'm tired of having these frustrations. I'm tired that I feel this many angry and upsetting thoughts on something thats supposed to help me and prepare me for the future. (And by the way The same day I'm writing this comment I went to school sleep deprived and hungry because I didn't have enough time to eat. The only thing I could do in the time I had was to fill up my water bottle, get dressed and take my allergy pills)

I think schools should be personalized. What if students choose their classes from the start? You can learn skills needed for a career you want and can succeed in, while not having to worry about losing out on a diploma because you are struggling with a subject you may not even use.

I absolutely hate it when teachers say "control yourself". What that actually means is "stop controlling yourself" since when you behave how you want to, they tell you this. Basically, it gaslighting you into thinking you're the problem.

Oh no, there has been change. What I've noticed is that people in this comment section don't understand that change takes time. Years, decades even. The problem is that you can't change the general structure of school. One of the implicit messages from this video is that the lecture style of teaching is bad. However, it is the only way for teachers to actually teach an entire class. They sadly can't go to each student and teach the student one on one, otherwise they would. The curriculum has been evolving a lot in Canada though, with coding being integrated into elementary education now. So be patient. Change is coming.

How drastic of a change do you think is going to be made? It’s only 7 years, 7 years may seem like a lot to you, but to most people it’s not that longer, and in such a short period of time not everything is going to change immensely.

i’ve watched this video since i was in 7th grade, I’m 16 and a soft-more in high school now. considering that i understood and connected with this then and the school system still hasn’t gotten better .. (id say it’s actually gotten worse) speaks volumes. i pray for the day the education system realizes how much they are affecting us negatively. i wasn’t diagnosed with Adhd and Dyslexia before high school, before i knew i had it teachers never understood why i was struggling with work or was falling behind. even know knowing i still don’t feel i’m getting the help i truly need, and as you say in the video. no kid thinks, functions or learns the same. thank you for this video and helping the misunderstood feel like they aren’t “fish climbing trees” 💗
