Don't Hate on the 348 Spider, Just DON'T!

Rob C I took a red 430 spider for a test drive a month ago. It was an F1. I just didn’t like the F1. It felt kind of junky. It just kind of turned me off. Not smooth. I’d take a 360 or 430 but it would have to be a manual. When I got into my 348 and drove away I was really re- impressed with how smooth and nice it shifted. But I’ll say one thing, people stared at that car like it was from another planet. I imagine the 360 is the same.

@@johnforeman634 For me I had to have a manual as I want to have total control over whats going on, I dont care that its slower as its far more enjoyable. There is nothing more satisfying to me than a perfectly rev matched downshift. An then there is the noise, stock exhaust but it sounds like music at high rpm :) Mine is black so not as shouty as say a red one, but still people do stare.

I own a 95 348 Spider for 11 years now and was thinking of trading up to a 458 but I think I’m going to keep the 348 and just wait a little longer to get a 458 😊

2:15 The one intake in front is because it has one A/C condenser (like every other car). That's what it's for.

I had a 348 and a 355 (and 360/458)... don't recall the 355 having adjustable suspension tbh!

Less is more. The entirely analog 348 is the biggest bang for the buck. The 355 has brass valve issues. the 355s electronic adjustable suspension goes out. the 355 spider's roof is one piece and costs $60k to replace. its now or never for the 348 - the shrewdest sports car purchase in the entire Ferrari market.

The only people who ‘love’ this car are the people who have one for sale....everyone from past owners, experienced Ferrari mechanics, and official Dealerships know it as a total piece of shit. This car sold a LOT of Acura NSXs.
