i've watched this show for years now, and I think Green guy was part of Roy's brainwashing show, but as each episode progresses, he kinda realized that something was wrong, like an AI that gained self-consciousness. However, Roy knew this and forced Green Guy to follow his script for his show, causing Green to get slight glitches in his character hence the increase auto-tune in his voice. In the end, he finally said "i can't take this anymore" with exteeme glitches in his voice, which kinda meant tbat he finally broke free from Roy's control, but it was all too late because Roy was watching at the top corner of the room and disposed Green by killing and feeding him to his son, Yellow Guy. At least that's my personal opinion about this issue.

I love red guy and the lore behind him, after going insane he got a job and tried to make the situation that happened to him before recognized but nobody listened. It was kinda heart breaking to see him get booed

na i see it more as his 'origin'. I think the whole thing was a tv show made by red guy, but it was corrupted by something (probably advertising or the corporate elite, which i think is represented by yellow guys dad/roy). I think he was the 'dad' to the show, maybe represented by yellow guy, because he gave red guy the platform to make his show, only to end up turning it into a corrupt corporate sellout. He was able to eventually retake control of the show, after he left the show in episode 4, represented by his head blowing up, but by then he couldnt do anything because roy had full control (episode 5 was just pure advertising and nonsensical lyrics.) All he could do was try in vain to take back his creator rights, represented by him trying to get his friends out who were literally trapped in the show. Eventually he succeeded, and the show was finally freed from the corruption created by Roy sorry if its waffle, im not good at explaining lol
