Me laughing who grabbed 45 LPA from Texas instruments this year from the IISc. IIT Bombay ka amdsn chor ke IISc Gaya tha, because I wanted to study at the best And my decision paid off, in fact now I have so many connections in industry as well as premier Universities like Cambridge, MIT etc. I myself converted my PhD to NUS very easily because of IISc and its branding. NUS is ranked 9th in the world rankings. Although I would be continuing with texas.

@@krishkumar5688 That's the sad part, our youth is not much educated and judge things incorrectly ly. IISc is the top institute of the country and you can't top that list without an incredible placement stats. In IISc all the engineering courses have one of the best placements in India. In CSA Mtech of IISc the lowest package this year is 14 lpa. Now you yourself can imagine. And it's not a new thing, IISc always had wonderful stats since starting. There's a reason why it's no1 institute of eminence by the govt of India. It's also world's no1 Research institute beating the likes of MIT, OXFORD etc in the prestigious QS world Rankings. Also in NIRF govt of India Rankings it has no 1 spot. There's a reason why almost all AIR-1 of Gate choose IISc Bangalore. IISc launched it's btech for the first time and that too in Mathematics and Computing not CSE, still AIR-01 of Jee adv choose that and the department closed by AIR 180-200 something. So you can imagine the brand, prestige and Aura of IISc. IISc is a diamond which could be recognised by only educated ones otherwise in masses i have seen people praising IIT bhilai over NIT Trichy. So won't say much upon that portion. Get a top rank AIR and get into IISc

@@krishkumar5688 BS has limited placements no matter from which institute you do it,because it's not a technical degree. But this doesn't mean BS is a useless degree, in fact it's an incredible degree, especially if you do it from the no1 institute like IISc Bangalore. Two things are guaranteed if you get BS at IISc 1. You can get into top universities of world for higher studies upon the recommendations of your professors at IISc. Like Cambridge, MIT, Harvard, NUS ect. IISc branding and network helps a lot. 2. If you do your higher studies (PhD) even from IISc only then also no problem as it itself is a world class University, which is no1 in the world in Research category. Generally PhDs get stipends ranging from 40 thousand per month to 1.5 lakhs per month ranging upon the kind of project they are doing. But 40-45k minimum is guaranteed + you will get to work in one of the best labs in the world.

And now I am motivated and clear both academically and financially that I should get into IISc because I love science and would love to research in this field. I have read that I can get into IISc through Jee, neet and IAT. I have taken PCB and Maths in extra, is it fine? I am considering giving NEET and IAT because IAT also allow you to get into IISERs In case, are IISER and NISER good enough for me if this is my future plan? BTW thankyou once again ❣️
