I definitely be judging books by the covers 🤣🤣🤣 especially when they look really childish. I would walk right by it. I definitely got Queenie based off the cover itself. I liked the book. I tried to reread it via audiobook… but because I remembered it so much. I stopped. Can’t wait for the Hulu Series. They made the cover of the book over to match the Series. The Great Gatsby is on my TBR for this month. I hadn’t read it since high school.

I read(listened) Queenie based on that cover and I hated the book.

I am quick to judge a book by itself cover. Especially these newer cartoon looking ones and I’ve quickly learned that I was missing out on tons of a good ones. I also learned that publishing companies are started to press closer to those cartoon looking covers. With urban fiction they definitely do too much for me on the cover. I don’t like real people in my covers. Unless they are so noticeable. 😊
