How to get inspired to draw or paint and how to find inspiration for your art is something we all struggle with! Struggles with what to paint and what to draw make us feel untalented and awful! I hope these 5 tips and tricks will help you with your art whenever you don't know what to draw or paint! They are great tips for an artist block or whenever you deal with being stuck to help you to overcome your artist block!

~My 5 Tips & Tricks~
❤ Tip #1: Why do you want to create?
Sometimes we struggle with art because we get frustrated with it, we feel like we have to impress someone or get someone's approval and painting or drawing become something we HAVE to do therefore we feel stuck. That's why it's important to remember why you want to create! Does it make you happy? Do you enjoy playing around with colors and expressing yourself? Then this should be your main reason and the source of inspiration!
❤ Tip #2: Paint or draw what you don't see!
Another great way to find an idea what to draw or paint is asking yourself 'why' a few more times! This makes you reflect about yourself and what you are going through, what makes you happy. This way you get deeper into the topic and get ideas that are personal and come from within, from your personal life!
❤ Tip #3: Use random brushstrokes!
Sometimes we feel too overwhelmed and too afraid to fill a blank canvas or page. As if it expects us to create a masterpiece! But what if you start painting or drawing totally randomly and then get inspired by the random brushstrokes? You will be surprised what you can discover! It's similar to staring at the clouds in the sky!
❤ Tip #4: Illustrate a recipe!
How about turning your art into a cookbook by illustrating your favorite recipe? It's a cute and unique way to create a personal gift as well!
❤ Tip #5: Do art studies!
Doing art studies is not only about copying the object, but it’s more about learning about different aspects like light, shadows, shapes, texture, all sorts of things! If you want to study the body, you can check out the website posemaniacs.com!
