Stop feeding the trolls! Best way to deal with us, is to ignore us altogether, though I must say as a veteran "Counter-Troller" it is nice to see a multitude of people standing up for Freddie in such a way. In larger metropolitan areas, such as LA and NYC you can rent equipment from rental houses that just rent out gear to be used for professional film and photography work. Through a google search I was able to find the Alexa for $1450 a day. Still a ton, but not the 80k+ that it is retail. I also believe Freddie owns a RED, but I am not sure.

Renting or knowing somebody who has one. The Arri Alexa, their main camera costs over 80,000 and the RED Scarlet used in the trench shot is 14,000+ so they most likely didn't buy them. Even bigger companies might rent their cameras if they want something special for a single production.
