It's a classic comedy bit with employer/employee relationship. See Conan O'Brien's vids with Jordan Schlansky, for example; Conan plays the role well, but he's admitted on camera before that being the "mean boss" is a character. Also worth noting that some people love to poke at each other, but have great friendships regardless! I've been there.

I think this BTS is one of the most solid ones I've personally seen on the channel in a long time (and I'll unabashedly say I've watched all of them). You see the filming, a good handful of jokes on set, Señor Jones gave a cool insight into some of the effects in it, and then of course the $1000 bet. Will Mr. Wong stay true to his proper handshaken bet? Only time will tell...

I still find Freddie's videos very entertaining and will always be a fan, but he was kind of mean to the music producer. I guess its perfectly normal for content creators to have high expectations for their crew and he is human after all, but I guess I've always only seen Freddie as a cheerful and happy guy and this BTS showed a different side of him.

Thanks for the link! The only thing that bothers me it's that it seems too focused on gaming instead of heavy vfx and editing. I know the two things often go along but it's not 100% true so if there's something vfx only related it would be great! Regarding gaming pc's I'm still up to date :)

WTF is up with freddie ?? I might be my imagination, but he seems like an asshole, since a few months maybe, he's not at Node/Lanparty (he was there at some point wasn't he?), the on é time he was there and played Day Z with the guys he got fkin mad as hell, and the tweet about the "birth of man" kickstarter : "My and my company have no part in ~ whatsoever" (he deleted it now, rewrote it)... and now the way he talked to John about the music too...

I have noticed this as well lately. I think the stress of running a million dollar company, putting new videos up, doing podcasts and being an up and coming producer/director has really put a strain on his patience. However, coming from a musical background, he probably has very high expectations of the musical scores on his videos. I honestly agree with his initial reaction to the track. If you watch the final cut, the music doesn't have nearly as much snare and was tweaked to sound much smoother. Using a cell phone app vs thousand dollars worth of music studio equipment/software to make a song is like playing free bird on knockoff fender with a cheap amp vs a 63 Gibson Firebird with a Marshall half stack. Freddie,Sam, Niko, and Brandon were the original LAN party crew and since Freddie has been busy with VGHS and making shorts, he really doesn't have the time to be a part of it anymore. I have watched all of the Node LAN parties and the only time I have really seen Freddie blow up was during MAN party Big Bear-2 at the end of the resistance game. Lets face it though, DayZ changes us all into monsters in one way or another. As for the birth of man, just publicizing someone else's kick starter on your youtube channel is a huge favor for them! Who cares if he announces to his followers that he and Rocketjump didn't have a hand in it? What if it sucks and becomes a reflection upon his company? Just trying to protect his brand while doing something nice for a fellow artist.
