Meeting and talking with you in Salvador was a highlight of my trip. One mistake I made was not testing the sunscreen I purchased before my trip. I went with a mineral sunscreen (coral reef friendly) and it melts in heat and humility. All my selfies look like Mulan during the matchmaker scene. Happy trails!

Charlie! So glad you came to check out my channel! Indeed, the hear can be very oppressive all over Brazil, so an absolute must to have a water proof option! Ps: I look melted in all the videos in Salvador and Recife as well, I will be posting soon 😅

Thanks for the video. One suggestion, though, is to turn down the background music a bit. There's a few parts that are hard to understand because the background music is too loud.

Thank you so much. We think you videos are brilliant, really useful. We are coming back to Rio next May for 2 weeks on our own (without an organised tour last time we had been on a cruise) we loved it so much that we had to return. So we will be watching all your videos to make sure we are well informed before we arrive. ❤

Thank you! Would you say that taking a plain iron ring (like, think as un-fancy as possible) is fine or it'll draw attention anyway?
@tripsterpanda13 күн бұрын
A simple ring should be fine. The problem is usually stuff with bling. Also, necklaces are a bit worse, even the ones that are not worth much because they are snatched easily. The ring someone would need to actively ask you to remove it, but that is not usual to do. In general you just dont want to have bracelets, earrings, etc that look expensive.

I liked the what NOT to pack. Where did you buy the "Christ the Redeemer" / "Sugarloaf Mountain" that is behind you?

I bought it on the souvenir shop in the Christ Redeemer attraction itself. They had other patterns as well, it was hard to choose 😅

This the second video of yours I watch. 2 things please turn the music down, it's hard to hear you. Second invest in a mic. It is very hard to hear you and understand what you are saying from the camera mic. Other then that thank you foe your videos. I'm coming to Brazil and appreciate the information.
@tripsterpanda2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. This video in specific here was filmed a while ago (if the second video you are talking about is the one about safety is also a bit old) and things were still being worked on. Newer videos will have lower music and I will be wearing a lapel mic in them. I’m glad the information is helpful!

Hi, I love your videos!! Please let me know what is the weather like in Rio Grande do Sul during month of June to July?
@tripsterpanda Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching them, I am glad you like it! In regards to your question: it depends where in RS you are going. In the capital Porto Alegre, I would expect mild to cold temperatures (10-15°C), if you go to the touristic cities, like Gramado, they are up in the mountains, so the temperature can get closer to 0°. June and July are winter months in Brazil. I hope you enjoy your time in Brazil!

If you mean just in general, havaianas are THE flip flops to be wearing, so you should blend right in :)

oi, é necessária vacina contra febre amarela ou febre tifóide se for visitar apenas o Rio, São Paulo ou Maceió? obrigado
@tripsterpanda8 ай бұрын

@@janfisher-payne4119I appreciate the feedback! We have been working on the audio in the following videos, unfortunately, I can’t just remove the audio on the video without also removing the voice. Let me know if there is something specific you might have missed and I would be happy to explain. I will also be double checking the subtitles to ensure they can be used as support as well in case it is difficult to hear.

It's Amazing how Rio - Oriented these videos are. I live in Northeastern Brazil where the weather is 84 degrees year-round and we wear nothing but shorts, but EVERYTHING in these videos is RIO, RIO, RIO. This is a massive country and yet, everyone is only interested in such a small section of the country.
@tripsterpanda8 ай бұрын
Hey, I hear you! I have videos in Salvador, Recife, Campos do Jordão, and São Paulo. There are two problems: 1) you probably didn’t even come across my other videos because interest from people is very low, so KZbin doesn’t really promote them; 2) I am originally from Rio and this is still a small channel, but I have been trying to show other parts of Brazil as I can. Unfortunately, the lack of interest from people associated with how expensive it is to try and bring videos from other parts of the countries is, makes it a bit difficult to have videos from all the great things the country has to offer! Thanks for the feedback!

What's the weather like in November in Rio?
@tripsterpanda Жыл бұрын
I think November is a great month to visit. There is already some rain, but not much, and it starts to get close to summer, so temperatures are higher. Also, fewer tourists than Dec-Feb, so better to visit attractions.

You do great videos but the audio is very very bad, I really struggled to follow you. Is a shame cause your video is really well made
@tripsterpanda Жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you for the feedback! I am still struggling with making the audio sound good, I have noticed that it sounds bad depending on the device you use to watch, but not sure how to fix. I have bought a mic and we are also trying to treat it during editing, but this is all new to me, so there is a learning curve. Hopefully the newer videos have improved audio. Do continue to let me know how I can improve, though. Always happy to hear constructive feedback!
