Love how you're sharing your learning journey. Those adjustable tables look awesome! I commented on a previous video of yours that upright posture is easier and naturally more supported by the body when the knees are lower than the sit bone. Cool to see that you've implemented that knowledge! I'll share another posture tip with you and viewers: Ideally both your monitors would be higher from the desk. They're about 10-20cm too low give or take. The ideal screen height is measured by imagining the monitor screen divided into thirds horizontally (could also internet image search "rule of thirds grid", download an image and view it full screen). Picture the horizontal line between the top third and the middle third. That line should be directly level with your pupils when you're sitting at your tallest with your head looking dead level forwards. The level your monitors are at currently it appears your pupils sit above your screen level, meaning you have to tilt your head or pupils down to view your screen. This creates a mild "Smartphone neck posture" and encourages slouching to get the head to match the lower height of the screen. You can get monitor stands from lots of different box stores (eg. IKEA) or online sellers. They might not be tall enough as is, could always put a few thick books between the new monitor stand and built in stand the monitor comes with. The fancy solution is to get a raised gas lift monitor arm. The benefit of a fancy monitor arm is that you can adjust it effortlessly with different sitting positions, both height and tilt. if we want to lean forward in artist mode, then we can tilt the monitor so that the tilt is parallel to our spine in side view. This is really helpful for those using a touch/pen screen so it can be used at a tilt angle like an architects drafting table. This is unsolicited advice, so take it at your leisure! Can try finding things at home to test raise the monitor before going out to buy something new. Good Luck, Have Fun!

My most favorite minimalism YT channel. Not one video I missed. I so love your aesthetics, your logical clear approach with no word that seems redundant. I love how fabulously you seem to work together as a couple. Hopefully you continue until you are grandparents. I wish you the best sponsors of the world, you would so deserve it. How alone ikea probably benefitted from your recommendations. Love from Munich, Germany.

I am on a similar journey to survive computer work. Don't forget to elevate your screen so you're not looking down all of the time. Monitor arms provide adjustable variability. And any long-session sitting is not good for you so make sure to alternate standing. Move your body!

You guys might like Primal Chairs (based out of Austin, Texas). Essentially it's a chair that brings the floor to the desk, instead of desk to the floor. Have had my chair for over a year now and I will never go back to a regular office chair.

I have the same cushion height preference as HL (10-15cm or 4-6") and bought a 10cm or 4" high SUMA Classic meditation cushion. I cannot recommend it highly enough! One of the founders lives in Singapore too.

But if you raise the laptop, it's not going to be at the right height for your hands. That's how laptops work.

Right... cuz anything other than the norm MUST be wrong right? No way other sitting postures/positions can be more comfortable. It's blasphemy! 😤🤡
