Coach Craig is amazing at what he does. When we did a Skype, he knew exactly what I was going through and helped reassure me that things would be fine. Also, on his second statement, he guessed that I was adopted, and then my ex messaged me twice 5 minutes into our session, we were both mind blown and had a great laugh about it. @@raulcastillo9600 honestly, I had those same concerns, my situation was/is pretty complicated and I was also worried that I wouldn’t have enough time. I even wrote the whole situation down in bullet form to save time but Coach Craig was so good and efficient that I really used my bullet points once the entire time. Don’t worry about you starting to conversation, Craig really took the lead with everything starting with just talking to me about what I do for work and where a live and eased into asking me about my situation. I ended up having enough time plus a little extra, so I really wouldn’t worry about that. I was very pleased with how everything went and how he made me feel and really eased my anxiety a bit. The Skype is definitely worth it, being able to look at him face to face helped a lot since he can read you like a book and knew exactly what to ask and when. Good luck and I hope this helped.

I mean I did all of that in a day, I wanted to talk to him bc I felt guilty after telling him I was tired and done with him and his bullshit, that he needed to heal the trauma with his mom (the mom brought him from his home country to nyc and were living with her then boyfriend’s family but it was a mess, they treated her badly after they split up and she left him there bc he wanted to stay to wait for documents they needed and their relationship got damage by that and almost lost contact and he became independent at 15) and the lost of his grandpa which I now understand that it was a huge lost bc he was the only person who chose him, so I felt guilty but he reacted so mean and upset when we met up bc I went to his apartment to get my bag back (was funny to get it back bc I could never bring it back home bc every time I tried he would think I was trying to break up with him) he said that he changed for me and partners don’t change for their partners and that he completely changed for me (he was a good guy BUT I felt I was doing a lot, going to check on him, visits, dates, he barely visited and I was the one who had to do all of that) I gave him the handwritten letters I was writing for our anniversary of a year ( I was planning to give him the letters and then break up but he ended up breaking up with me through a phone call) but yeah I kind of pleaded but not to come back as I told him but to just clarify everything between us but he didn’t want to see me or hear me (I don’t understand why he acted that way, he wanted to break up with me a week before the phone call and everything seemed ok but his mother’s new boyfriend got surgery and he got distanced but he said he lost interest on me and he didn’t love me no more) so He unfriend of everything and he wanted to remove me from the root, right now I just decided to accept that, since the momento we split up I didn’t look for him, I unfriend him too, bc he let me follow him back and he was posting like crazy saying that he is back in the game and that he came back (after the death of his grandpa he said he wanted his old self back bc he felt empty and I used to say to him that that is not gonna happen but he can create a new self, a better self with what happened to him and what he learned from all of those emotions bc no one can bring the past back or try to be someone we used to be bc then we don’t grow as a person) I know he is not a bad person but it was a messy situation and I didn’t want to deal with that no more I was getting lost and started being anxious and I was like that in my first relationship and I didn’t want to repeat that again, not ever again. I was sad about the breakup but I know I did my best (he used to say he was depressed and I stayed with him bc my brother passed away due to depression and I got so worry even when his mom would be clueless about his psychological state, he was more like a father than a son, I think I stayed long enough to avoid any disaster but I’m happy I was able to breakup with that persona before losing myself trying to love him while he didn’t love me no more :) it’s been two months and I feel good, sometimes I miss the old memories but that’s all.

As a women I disagree that women have endless dating options. I've been single since my break of 10 months ago & all the options I've had have been guys who are emotionally unhealthy & immature.
@smilersmiling3 жыл бұрын
I don’t believe it’s gender specific. I think there’s a lazy attitude towards throw away dating in that it’s far easier today to connect and date, but that’s both sexes. No contact is self respect. If the dumper thinks they can get better etc go and let them. It’s their choice.
@smilersmiling3 жыл бұрын
@@katieb5052 I resonate with this too and along the same timeline. I came out of toxic relationship with an emotionally immature person about 10 months ago. I needed time out from dating after the relationship as it drained the energy out of me. There’s a standard I would like to find in a partner where they hold themselves responsible so we support each other and grow as couple. I’m not interested in fixing someone who is using relationships to deal with unresolved traumas. This is where maturity comes into play and I fully accept that I’m limiting my options when I know full well that there’s a lot of immature people out there desperate to get into relationships. I’d rather be single and happy with myself than chasing toxic relationships. The relationship with yourself is far more important than the relationship you haven’t got. Good luck to you x

So my ex fiance broke up on April 1st. I kept in contact, texting, intimacy. He always texted back within minutes. I went into no contact July 5. It's day 56 today...at what point do I reach out?
@marsboyo19953 жыл бұрын
You don't. Sit on your busy itchy fingers. You did well before you met him, you're alive after 56 days. So no reason. When a man wants you back, he'll know how to get you back. Just be firm... don't cave in. Ask God to give you the strength to go ahead one minute at a time. You'll be proud in the end.

What if you have to do the break up even if you dont want to but because he is not ready for a commitment you have to walk away? Does the no contact work.still?
@Eggo51503 жыл бұрын
Yes it can. It depends on a lot of things; the breakup, their personality, connection, length of relationship etc. No contact is for both people to get time apart, heal and grow. The side effect is making them miss you, consider reconciling and so forth. Your situation is similar to mine in the sense that she was not in the state of mind to be able to sustain a relationship. I've gone no contact to work on myself and heal. Reflecting on things that I saw myself doing while we together that you don't notice until it's too late. She is fighting a deep depression and is very overwhelmed with life at the moment. People need time to themselves after a breakup. Yes it sucks that you want them back right now... but allowing them to figure things out and get to a better place is what needs to happen. It could take a long time. If they come back you need to be the best version of yourself and be able to accept whatever outcome happens.

Hi Craig! Love your work! My partner just dumped me after 4yrs. Said he doesn’t know what’s going on in his life and has been depressed for the past few months and says he doesn’t know what’s going on with himself. Very up and down about saying things will be fine maybe we can still be friends or maybe things will go back to normal. he was at the point of going to talk to someone. He hasn’t been speaking to many of his friends since. Give me some insight please. I’ve not Spoken to him in a week as I don’t want to interfere we only split two weeks ago. Xo

I am not sure if no contact is right for me. My ex and I broke up mutually but I alluded to it. It’s been over a week and I told him I wanted him back on Friday. He said he wanted to get back but wasn’t sure if it was the right decision and needed some time. But he was a great bf so I am not sure if I should keep fighting for the relationship if I alluded to it and it was mutual.

@@maura4261 Hey girlie ❤️ how are you holding up? I know this place you're in is challenging but, I know you have to give yourself a bit of credit that you are so much stronger than you know. Everytime you want to call or text which is very tempting. Call your best friend or a family member up instead. Another way to keep from doing making a mistake(s) I find that works for me besides calling my friends/family is going for a good walk, jog, dance class. Anything that requires me to focus on other people " mindfulness". Get a journal and write whatever comes to mind. How you been feeling, express it in singing, poetry, writing, dancing. Remember it's okay to cry every now and then also. Let your mind and body heal. You'll thank yourself for it and will be more emotionally Dane later and stronger for the next person or for the returning partner IF that is what happens ( no judgement). Be open and receptive to the person you want back BUT LET THEM DO MOST OF THE WORK OR ALL OF IT. They broke up with you for a reason even if it had nothing to do with you. Use this time of transition and maturing because that's what this time is for, to be more confident, calmer, and wiser. You want to prove more to yourself that they are not GOD. You were fine before them, during them, and can survive without them. It's them who needs to question if they can do without and better. Sending you a virtual 🤗 hug. I know you can do it. Leave them alone and let them call you. Don't beg, plead, or cry when talking to them. Don't even waste energy if they try to push buttons to make you mad. Pay them dust with a smile and happiness/confidence in your voice. That's attractive. 😘
