💜I became emotional when the baby arrived with her dead mom in a garbage bag. I'm so grateful that you've saved not only Helen but all those before her and the ones still to come. I'm at a loss for words (which rarely happens) to express my appreciation for everyone at the foundation who works so tirelessly to save lives and keep the monkeys safe and happy :)

As soon as the babies get near to Dave in the car they sense his calm and stillness and seem to settle remarkably quickly, often sleeping on his shoulder or on his tummy. They seem to feel very safe. All 3 are sad beginnings in this episode but, as always, the superb narration and filming unfolds their recovery to us. Thankyou! 😊

It always amazes me how calm these little monkeys are they are wild creatures and it seems to me like they would be biting scratching clawing screening I don't think I've ever seen one do that

You’re right; I hadn’t really thought about that before. I’m thinking it’s because they’re so very young and haven’t learned yet that humans are scary, and they’re desperate for nourishment & protection, and have that strong survival instinct to cling (to their mum’s tummy when she’s running and climbing trees, which is why the floofy blankets are so instrumental). Another factor that probably eases their anxiety is the way the volunteers mimic the smacky lips sound that (mostly adult) Vervets make when they’re pacifying & reassuring .❓ 🤷🏻‍♀️ ❓😊

The most adorable babies are certainly Vervets, but the baby Macaques, Snow monkeys, and Chimpanzees , adorable also. I just watched a Chimp special on NF, a troop with babies and toddlers, very cute. Skip the male violence, though, it's pretty graphic.

I just watched a series of videos of mother monkeys abandoning their babies killing them don't give a flying F about him so sad I mean I can see now why people do what they do with the baby monkeys but at the same time you have to let life do what it's got to do it's part of nature some mothers just aren't good mothers but at the same time you want to go oh God you want to help it but they'll be a male come along impregnate her again and she'll have another baby will she take care of it who knows but it's just like wow it's an education let me tell you and it's sad

I dont want to sound rude but the lady narrating here 13:44 is incredibly difficult to understand. I applaud the learning of another language. Maybe a voiceover could be spoken with a more fluent English speaker. I really enjoy the voiceovers on these videos with added info on monkeys. Maybe some subtitles could be helpful for subscribers.
