When I went back to México after almost after 28 years, I visited CDMX por que ahí nací and went to Coyoacán and I fell in love with it!. 3. love the music in your video! Almost left my desk to dance to la cumbia.... 4. Thanks for sharing the history! 5. Love the fountain! We didn't know we needed to reserve for the Frida museum, so we didn't get to visit... 6. Awwww el baile en la plaza reminds me of my late grandparents... 🥲 7. Qué bonito the art culture! 8. El mercado está increíble! Creo que si fui.... 9. Parque Viveros! Well, we missed it too but one more place to visit when we go back... 10. Went to Coyoacán at night time and got a limpia ancestral from this group that was dancing Danza Azteca 11. We got churros that are vegan friendly in churrería El Moro and they were delicious as well! THANK YOU for sharing guys! Sigan disfrutando!

BTW there is a nice walk from Coyoacán passing through Chimalistac and up to San Ángel. You can take the Francisco Sosa street all down up to Universidad Avenue, then walk through Arenal street where you will find the Taglet park, you cross Miguel Ángel de Quevedo Avenue up to la Bombilla Park, there you can explore Chimalistac neighborhood. After that you can cross Insurgentes Avenue through Av. La Paz Avenue (there are several restaurants there, including my favorite French cuisine aka "Cluny") up to San Ángel.

Coyoacán is a place I can keep going back to and never tire of it! This episode had me waving nostalgic. Halloween and Día de Muertos there are the best!! Just behind La Plaza de la Conchita is the actual Haciende de (Hernan)Cortes, it’s now a popular breakfast/brunch spot and in front of the plaza is the casa de la Malinche. Also located in Coyoacán is La Casa Fortaleza del Indio Fernandez, who modeled for the Oscar Statue. It’s a must visit during Día de Muertos! And a walk from El Centro de Coyoacán down Avenida Francisco Sosa (the most beautiful street in the world!) you’ll come by Plaza Santa Catarina where you’ll find Merendero Las Lupitas touted to have the best atole (it is!) and there’s is also Casa de Cultura Jesús Reyes Heroles. I could go on and on! You’re in such a good spot in CDMX! So happy for you that this is where you decided to settle 😊
@EatBailaTravel9 ай бұрын
Oh my gosh yes! Halloween in Coyoacan was insane 😅 so cool! Ooohh snap thanks for mentioning the actual hacienda! We’ll go look for it. Is the food good there? La Malinche had a house there too? @lizpdx079 ай бұрын
I can’t say if the food is good at the Hacienda because we were on a bike ride and only stopped to use the restroom and look around (as terrible as that sounds!) but definitely worth the walk over. I can say for sure that the two restaurants in front of Plaza Santa Catarina are delicious and a must when in that little area. El callejón del Aguacate also has an interesting history there. I was hoping to be there for Día de Muertos but decided to go to Colombia this year instead, thanks to your videos! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hola, Jenvin, I'm loving your channel! I've started from the beginning and wonder if you're able to create a playlist that plays all from the beginning? Thank you! Also, Jenny, Since I went back and started from the beginning I saw how you seem to have improved in your health issues pretty quickly after the first several videos. It looks like the move to Mexico helped you so much! I think it has a lot to do with the good, fresh food there. I had similar health issues and doctors also down-played my symptoms as 'in my head'. A naturopath helped me make a plan to get rid of toxins and I started a clean eating lifestyle, including getting rid of gluten. It changed my life completely. Only when I allow toxins back in do I get the symptoms again (and that includes stress). I hope your symptoms are much better, it looks like it! Thanks for showing us Mexico from your POV.

I have made lots of improvements though and have thought about making a video to talk about it, especially with how our move to Mexico has impacted my health! Thanks for mentioning this and reminding me of the idea. And yes, toxins play such a big role in inflammation issues! my favorite neighborhood. the best. i went to la coyoacana for the mexico-argentina world cup match. place was on fire. i wound up there for 15 hours and am still not totally clear how i got back to my apartment. one, sometimes terrible problem, with the neighborhood, are the many church festivals. it's not uncommon, unfortunately, to listen to rockets all night from one church after another, like on the hour, every hour. it can be hell late in the year. (that said, i'm typing this from coyoacan right now haha).

Staying just north or Roma Norte and La Condesa but I worry about even those places having water rationing. So yeah maybe it’s best to bite the bullet, lose money and not go. Maybe it’s not the most ethical trip as I’m thinking the poor people there have it the worst.
