As a leeds fan, really hope Ange succeeds. He has a similar approach to Bielsa. Both believe in attacking, attractive football to entertain the public. We made the mistake of not backing Bielsa, hope Spurs don't do the same thing. These days, so many clubs have rich foreign owners, that can afford to make their clubs competitive. There's no guarantees that Spurs would win anything with a pragmatic manager, they've already tried that. Enjoy the ride and stick with Ange.

Ange will pull Spurs through. I am an Arsenal fan ,but know Areta is limited with tools that make him appear like a good manager. Arteta is doing everything to win the league but he is not showing any faith with our youngster preferring to buy players from Chealsea so that means he is forsaking the club for a limited prize. On the otherhand Ange is creating a playing style at Tottenham, as are Man United and Chealsea. All those managers for those clubs I could tell at once had what it took to meander their clubs to the top. Ange is going to get better with time not worse so he'll not be far behind.

@infostudy101Ай бұрын
There is attacking football and gung ho football. If you want to talk historically then there is the Newcastle example. I think they were 10 pts ahead of Utd and blew it. 14 teams In The EPL have conceded more goals this year then Tottenham and 3 teams have conceded the same. Only 1 team have scored more goals. I understand the win game mentality and Tottenham aren't where they should be, however not many teams are being talked about their defence. Having a fully fit 11 is a huge difference, and with an inconsistent year, is expected with a young squad. The Attacks aren't warranted on Tottenham, yet on the 14 teams who concede more and 19 teams who score less.

@@tomeggleston367 how does he? He’s a pundit and he’s a knowledgeable one at that. There’s multiple pundits and fan channels that question players, managers etc and they have a right to. By that logic, is Arteta allowed to have an opinion on Carragher when playing in the champions league? Should Roy Keane not do the World Cup coverage because he’s won no international trophies? Don’t be daft, how anyone can disagree with what he’s saying about Spurs is beyond me. He has praised there football, said he loves Ange but they are naive in terms of tactics. Isn’t that obvious? I’m a fan and I don’t think it’s a crazy take to say some of their losses this season could have been prevented if Ange was willing to calm a game down.
@tomeggleston367Ай бұрын
@@DrShakamoto9 Ange isn’t stupid. He’s aware that with so many first team players out (just from the defence we have Vicario, VdV, Romero, Davies, Udogie) we could have played a more defensive style. But he is still transitioning us from Mourinho & Conte’s polar opposite tactics. And therefore recognises it is more important to keep ALL the players playing in this same style than chopping and changing. Klopp finished 8th, 4th, 4th in his first EPL seasons. Until he got ALL the players to perfect his strategy. Pep has one style of play and was not criticised. Arteta took a while to start ‘competing’ for the league. Long term we will see the benefits of sticking to our guns - even if less intelligent fans spit their dummies out. I’m glad we’ve got Ange, who backs himself. I can see why so many ex-Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U pundits are frightened by his potential and want to sabotage the project early.
